Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We get started early with our FPL weekend with a Friday match up of West Ham’s Jose ‘2 point’ Hernandez vs that guy with the weird B or double ss, Groß from Brighton. Saturday then sees the struggling champions Chelsea facing off against the surprising Hornets. Five 3pm games follow that lunch time affair. Huddersfield host the ‘scared of Liverpool’ Manchester United, City go for 10 goals vs Burnley, Newcastle takes on Hodgson and all his memes, Stoke show their face vs Bournemouth and Swansea tangle with the Shakespeare-less Leicester. Sunday brings a conclusion to GW9 with Everton and their soon to be sacked Koeman versus the will never be sacked Wenger and his castrated XI. That is followed by the best fixture on paper when future Real Madrid star Harry Kane trolls his GW8 FPL captaincy backers by scoring a brace vs Liverpool in what hopefully is end to end stuff.

Is Davies likely to be on the bench most weeks now or is it a waste to swap him out for Trippier?
I think Trippier has issues as well. Davies is under threat from Rose now and Aurier is maybe even favoured over Trippier. Think I’d avoid
I have a bit of a shortage in defence. Jones, Mbemba & Davies are unreliable. Others are Monreal and Ward who are fine. Any suggestions who to trade for? (1 FT 0.1 ITB) p.s already have 3 city players

Right do I activate the wild card
Very similar to mine mate.. i have activated it.. i guess i have pushed too hard to include 3 expensive midfielders whereas you have 2.. not sure if eriksen will be worth the sacrifice.. any other advice on the team below mate?
Not sure I would Smash but I understand that you are straining at the leash to do so!
Part of it is that I am on holiday for 2 weeks from Saturday and I’ve only had 10 players last 2 weeks

Finally activated my WC after weeks of deliberation.. Any advise on this?
Yeah looks good. Defence is very weak though. I don’t think Mariappa keeps his place for that long
Any news on Kane injury?
There weren’t any mention of it after and Kane even interviewed so can’t be much in it

Thinking of Alonso and Games out for Monreal and Otamendi in for a minus 4?
Or any other suggestions, cant fix this lot in a week but feel a definate non player and an overpriced player are a good place to start!

How comes Vertonghen gets an assist but Eriksen doesn’t? I thought the rule was the ball had to come out of the box to negate an assist?
I don’t agree it should be…but I have Eriksen so I want it…
