Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We get started early with our FPL weekend with a Friday match up of West Ham’s Jose ‘2 point’ Hernandez vs that guy with the weird B or double ss, Groß from Brighton. Saturday then sees the struggling champions Chelsea facing off against the surprising Hornets. Five 3pm games follow that lunch time affair. Huddersfield host the ‘scared of Liverpool’ Manchester United, City go for 10 goals vs Burnley, Newcastle takes on Hodgson and all his memes, Stoke show their face vs Bournemouth and Swansea tangle with the Shakespeare-less Leicester. Sunday brings a conclusion to GW9 with Everton and their soon to be sacked Koeman versus the will never be sacked Wenger and his castrated XI. That is followed by the best fixture on paper when future Real Madrid star Harry Kane trolls his GW8 FPL captaincy backers by scoring a brace vs Liverpool in what hopefully is end to end stuff.

hello guys,
how are we all?
i managed to sneak into the top 5k, so quite happy with some decisions..
regarding to the next GW i have some concerns though..
wanted to sell Lukaku for Morata.. but i’m also interested in the move of shipping Salah in plus i have the situation with Davies.. what should i focus on? 1 FT zero ItB, willing to take a hit.. cheers

I was in a similar position in only having 10 last 2 weeks and Davies and I have activated wild card. You probably had a stronger front 7 to me though

Your defence looks very low scoring for this GW. All depends on chance though, but youll never know if Davies will play (his absence is random, and Rose is back too), and Jose will keep news on Jones hidden, as usual. Hegazi will concede 4 goals as per norm when you are against City.
Its time to WC. Change your entire defence and fit in Salah/Cout if possible.

Monreal is fine for this week and also for GW’s 13 &14 but you’d have to hide him for 11 & 12! Maybe a Watford defender would be more useful?

Another option is a Liverpool defender if you are daring enough. Both Gomez and Moreno come at 4.5M, and have an assist each to their names.

MLS final ranking of #1309. Not great, but I think it’s my best ever and had a few missed deadlines including the last big dgw so perhaps decent? I know Mito ended up #15 and the site team inside top 30 which is brutal and congrats for that. Keep it coming, when the time comes. Cheers for having a FF247 league in there and get Guy back here!!

661 for me. By a mile my worst ever. Didn’t like the format and surprised I didn’t just ditch it as many others did. Just thankful the site team was over 80 behind the winner or there would have been questions to answer for sure! :poof:

244 here, took me a few weeks to get into it but really enjoyed it in the end.
The site team has now posted 7 successive finishes in the top 30. How impressive is that?!

Somehow Im in the top 1500, and the pressure is getting to me hard.
What to do with the Jones/Davies/Jesus situation? keep Jesus and pick up Trippier and another Def. for a long term replacement for Jones/Davies?
Or go for an WC where I can pick up Morata and buff up my midfield a little??

superb rank – I would love to see Richarlison in your squad, but guessing you’d be reluctant to sell Gross to get him?
You’ll have to wait for news on Jones – looking at Smalling and Lindelof you know that Jones’ place is safe when he is fit and until Rojo returns. I’m worried about Davies – he has done nothing wrong but is now under pressure from Rose and even Aurier!
I think Jesus is fine, he’ll score well for you, would prefer Kun but could be a tricky switch.

Id like to get Richarlison from Cork or Carrol, but need funds. Need to to some clean up for this, was thinking a WC or a hit now and make the move next round maybe.

Out of the frying pan etc with Trippier. Think I’d get Morata for Lukaku and a Davies replacement with a view to making up the funds for Richarlison for Cork or Carroll. Up to you whether it’s worth doing the lot in one or over 2 weeks to avoid a hit.
