Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We get started early with our FPL weekend with a Friday match up of West Ham’s Jose ‘2 point’ Hernandez vs that guy with the weird B or double ss, Groß from Brighton. Saturday then sees the struggling champions Chelsea facing off against the surprising Hornets. Five 3pm games follow that lunch time affair. Huddersfield host the ‘scared of Liverpool’ Manchester United, City go for 10 goals vs Burnley, Newcastle takes on Hodgson and all his memes, Stoke show their face vs Bournemouth and Swansea tangle with the Shakespeare-less Leicester. Sunday brings a conclusion to GW9 with Everton and their soon to be sacked Koeman versus the will never be sacked Wenger and his castrated XI. That is followed by the best fixture on paper when future Real Madrid star Harry Kane trolls his GW8 FPL captaincy backers by scoring a brace vs Liverpool in what hopefully is end to end stuff.

Suttner, you ass..
That’s not very nice…
His going out of my team would be good..
He is still in mine but usually a sub
Just realized all my defenders for next GW are away from home.
Quiz time.
Name the only professional football team in Britain which doesn’t contain any of the letters of FOOTBALL.
The whole name? I mean including words like united?
Is Britain the clue?! Is this some dodgy Welsh town?
Dundee?!!
And not Dundee United 😉
Brilliant Banjo!
Can we all refer to me as this now please?
Think I’ve got it, but I will wait for clarification on constantine question
I feel I may have ruined Cookie’s quiz time, before it really got started, so here’s another for you all…. Who is the only player to have won the Champions League, Premier League, UEFA Cup and FA Cup and be relegated from the Premier League?
Kanu?
Well that was quick and easy! We’re on form this morning lads!
OK, let’s ramp it up a notch… Who has played in The Premiership, Divisions 1, 2 & 3, The Conference, The Champions League and the UEFA cup?
Was thinking Vardy but will try Lallana
Nope, as much as I wish Southampton had gone to the conference, they didn’t 😉
Or Rickie Lambert?
Nope!
Os this the Uefa Cup or the Europa League?
Well spotted! It’s UEFA Cup.
Edgar Davids?
Afraid not! Don’t think he’s done every tier in England?
I have a list of other clues if we’re getting stuck.
I was feeling all smug after thinking of Davids
Defoe?
Nope, he’s not played every tier either.
Here’s another clue then… he’s played in a World Cup too.
John Aldridge?
Joe Allen?
Trevor Steven
David Platt
Did all this happened last century?
Yep, this century. And none of the above are it!
This’ll throw you all… He’s played in La Liga too.
Steve
I sense you’ve nailed it constantine?
I guess so..started watching EPL in 98 as for the first time league football was aired in India around that period. Became instant fans of Beckham and Totti then. Nostalgic
So, players around that period have a special place for me.. Anyways, won’t lie, LA liga was a giveaway. Cross checked and confirmed on the net too..
I thought La Liga would throw people off course!!! He wasn’t exactly know for his time in Spain!
I know, i meant i checked online for the answer as it was easy after that detail you shared. But, it still is a very decent information.. will eat the brains of my friends now
Gerry Armstrong
Or John Aldridge?
Hooper 😉
Carl Hooper..one of the best windies players
Kop’s gonna kick himself!
Steve who?
Steve (Twinkle toes.) macmanaman
Nope! He wasn’t English.
Steve Finnan.
There’s it is!!!!
Crap! I was almost there!
This is a tough one! Tips needed:
– is he from a Central America country?
– Did he do Spain->England or the other way around?
– which position on the field ?
He’s European.
He did England to Spain, then back to England again.
He was a defender.
I decided to captain Sterling rather than Morata, Kane or Jesus. Hope that does not backfire.
