No early games this week, so we go all in at 3pm on Saturday, with Brentford v Bournemouth, Palace v Fulham, West Ham v Everton and Wolves v Southampton.

Instead of the early game we have two late ones as Brighton and Man City go at 5.30pm before Liverpool host Villa at an unusual 8pm.

Three 2pm games populate on Sunday with Man Utd v Leicester, Forest v Newcastle and Spurs v Ipswich.

Chelsea and Arsenal claim the prime time slot at 4.30pm. Hopefully with justification.

The games in full…

    Ah fiddlesticks!
I thought I was off for a good GW this week, after Wissa scored a double, Mbeumo got 5 and risky GK gamble Fabianski, got 8 pts! I even watched the first 65 minutes of City vs BHU, and left it with high hopes of another Haaland goal, a clean sheet for Lewis & Gvardiol and …what can go wrong, the world’s my oyster!!! Shouldn’t have switched off, as City like myself, lost concentration and the bloody replacements scored (I did watch the whole segment on MOTD, which was really interesting tactically)!!! Oh well, Salah wouldn’t score surely, and I would still get one up on those Salah owners/Haaland disbelievers! – Wrong, AJW!!! This is a weekend of monumental drops for you my lad (the voices of the FPL Gods, taunting me!).
Think I’m gunna rage trade Haaland and Johnson to Salah + Joao Pedro at the end of the IB (which isn’t actually rage trading at all, as it’s nearly 10 days away!), and see how TAA is going and perhaps trade to another Pool DEF.
It’s crazy, as I was at 71k after GW 5 and now I’m looking to drop over the 1m mark! I’m the reverse Midas as they say (‘Everything he touches turns to….!’).
Anyway, see you round people, and I hope you all had good weekends.

If you can drop that much in a short space of weeks, it can just as easily go the other way mate. Hang on in there with your unmatchable positive mindset and you’ll be fine. Might I suggest you forget everything about FPL for 10 days and come at your squad with a fresh set of eyes then. They may still be the same moves but at least it’ll be done clinically with no rage.

Hey GP, thanks very much mate. Wise words from the coach again! Yeah I do tend to carry on a fair bit and make a lot of noise, but I’m generally a very stoic person – and thank you for saying I’m positive! I will try and forget about FPL (and football in general, except for the prospective price rises), and especially all those bloody podcasts, as they just leave you with endless repetitive comments (even the guys from the Wire, who are quite sagacious, can still get on your nerves at times). I’m watching more MOTD and sometimes listening to The Guardian football weekly, which is funny, as it’s essential for a bloke like me who grew up with rugby league and not football, to appreciate tactics and player roles etc.
Anyway, as you can see, I’m a wee long-winded GP, but I very much appreciate your kind words.
        All the best, AJW. 😉

I dropped from 277k 2 weeks ago to 684k now. Steep drop.

          Hey Reg,
Thanks – yeah I know it sux to drop, when you think that the normal progression is always going to be upwards (well in previous years it was). That means that a lot of people actually gained ranks (at our expense sad ) but hell it’s just a game! Hahaha – I hope the subcontinent is okay atm!
          Enjoying your cricket no doubt!
          Cheers!
          😉
