We want to begin by simply wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. It is of course a busy time for all so the following Live Match Chat will be live for the entirety of the holiday period. The only interruptions will be additions to the Site Team article within the comments of that one and of course the weekly (by GW) H&L comp that shall have its own new article each time. We hope you all have a good one and we shall catch up along the way.

Mid-priced myself
Hi all,
FH active. This current setup will leave nothing in the bank. Also thinking of
i. Dalot or Dorgu
ii. Replacing Foden/O’Reilly
iii. Captaining Palmer/Cunha/Gordon/Foden replacement
Some fun for one GW. Cherki could be an option too. Anyone else whether on FH or not, please some advices or comments.

Some things for your consideration, Wissa is back and generally Howe does not play two up top, so maybe DCL/Thiago/Bowen for Woltemade.
Cherki is must have, probably instead of Gordon
Will you want Saka / Wirtz for Foden?
Could you consider Gabriel for Virgil?

Tidings of the season everyone. Am on a BB this GW and somehow my bench is all Leeds players
Have 3 FT after bringing in Gabriel and Dorgu. 1.3 ITB. Could take out Gudmundsson I guess?

Mid-priced myself
Maybe 3.8 Heaven instead of Gudmundsson? There is a small rotation risk with Yoro and Martinez though.
Terminators
You could do Gudmundsson >Thiaw I think from the prices it would give you another option going forward as they have what should be a good run of fixtures, Newcastle should be getting a CS at Burnley even though Newcastle have their best defenders out.
The other option would be Brentford’s Lewis-Potter or Collins.
I wouldn’t want to take Stach or DCL out.

Woltemade also seems to play 70 minutes per game, not much more. So I will consider one of those DCL/Thiago/Bowen. I still want some Newcastle cover, so in that case Gordon will stay. That would mean Foden out for Cherki, which would leave me enough money to upgrade anything needed.
Saka is great, but as Villa seems to win every game, don’t want him this GW. It’s a bit same with Gabriel. Wirtz instead is quite tempting.
Terminators
I did Estève > Dorgu before the price rise, may as well take the -4pts to consolidate a bad couple of GW’s.

In the states the NY Times is reporting it and I’d say they are pretty legit. However behind a paywall so I can’t share. The Mirror UK is reporting as well but I don’t know how legit that one is. I always thought the mirror was tabloidish but probably not on this matter.
