We want to begin by simply wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. It is of course a busy time for all so the following Live Match Chat will be live for the entirety of the holiday period. The only interruptions will be additions to the Site Team article within the comments of that one and of course the weekly (by GW) H&L comp that shall have its own new article each time. We hope you all have a good one and we shall catch up along the way.

In the end. Can’t say I’m totally devastated that I sold Virgil and Wolte for Mukiele and Ekitike. First one got 6 points and second one 8 or 9.

I may even Petrović > Roefs for another -4pts

I had Bowen earlier in season and was happy to get rid of him. Surprised he is the 3rd highest scoring forward. Not sure about going back to him, am thinking Semenyo to Bowen and change back to 3-4-3

Rice > Bruno.F

But Bowen has a good run but is going up in price so I have to make this move tonight, as since getting Thiago he’s done nothing for me, nothing today playing Wolves and nothing against Leeds the week before.
Petrović is just useless he doesn’t get Clean Sheets but doesn’t get any bonus points from saves etc, I have had enough of him now, I can change him next GW but Roefs has Leeds next so should get good points, so I am essentially spending 4pts hoping he scores 6pts because Petrović won’t score more than 2pt and then everything onwards from Roefs is profit as to speak!

Hmm. I’m not sure whether to sell Rice or Bruno G for Bruno F. I know Bruno G has the better fixtures. Is that why you’re selling Rice?

I need to sell either Rice or Saka, the issue is having both of them I HAVE to play both of them every week, I cannot bench just one of them.
Selling Saka would be the best way to raise funds though but I was thinking Saka is better to keep than Rice.

I have a very similar team to you Terminators and am thinking of either:
A. Saka & Thiago > Bruno F & Bowen
B. Bruno G / Rice & Calafiori > Bruno F & Alderete
I’m not wholly convinced I want Bowen and have a lot of value in Thiago. I just sold Woltemade and look how that worked out

Thiago just isn’t doing enough point-wise and I know West Ham are not very good, but he’s their best player and the only one that will score goals, they have a good run as well, better than Brentford has.
idk I just don’t think Bowen will be any worse than Thiago.
I am going to see if Saka does anything for the rest of this game and see if Rice makes it without injury and just do Saka & Thiago > Bruno.F & Bowen.
I will be able to rotate between Neto and Bruno.G, I will likely do Bruno.G to Gordon for the Burnley game.

Oh dear. This is the problem of early transfers. I too did 2 early transfers for next week. Ekitike and rice in for mateta and semenyo. I didn’t really want to sell semenyo but was 0.2 short of ekitike. Planned to do saka to bruno f next week but now if injured no point.

FWD’s going up looks like Ekitiké, Bowen, Calvert-Lewin and Marc Guiu for some reason
