It is of course a busy time for all so the following Live Match Chat will be live for the entirety of the holiday period. The only interruptions will be additions to the Site Team article within the comments of that one and of course the weekly (by GW) H&L comp that shall have its own new article each time. Ekitike looking like a must have. Worth 4ph? Thiago out for Ekitike and Bruno out for Wilson or Rogers? Not a fan of hits and no other way to get Ekitike.

You’ll be getting Wilson two gameweeks too late. He has one easy fixture left.
I’m really annoyed Szobo is suspended next gameweek. Versus wolves… I might do something crazy like getting Wirtz. Purely based on fixtures and I think with Szobo out, he might be on corners and free kicks as well.

Morgan Rogers is absolutely saving my season! This week i took a hit bcoz 2 of my defenders injured and i already took a hit for next week to get ekitike in as i was 0.2 short.

Interesting. Think he did nothing the first 7 gameweeks? Like Villa. Now he’s coming good…. Watkins is underperforming still, imho. Not sure I want to buy him for the next two gameweeks though, I think they have Chelsea and Arsenal? If i had him in my squad already, I wouldn’t sell though.

I just checked my transfer history. I got Rogers in for Doku in gw11 when i short term it hurt me as Doku got 11 pts vs Liverpool while Rogers blanked vs Bmouth at home. But i got Rogers in sensing an improvement in A Villa form and good fixtures and since then he has had 3 15 pt hauls in next 6 games.
FPL aside I think he is the best box to box midfielders in premier league right now. Unique kind of player nowadays.

I am going to have to drop him, but for Rogers or Cunha for a -4pts

Now is not the time to buy Rogers. Next 2 games are very tough. But i won’t be selling him either. Look elsewhere. Not sure of Cunha too.

Yeah idk how Cunha will do without Bruno, and I know about the next two games for Rogers but at the moment Villa look like that can beat anyone and any goals Rogers will be involved in.
idk what to do, I could just bench Bruno.F until he is back?
