Back to some semblance of reality with a GW that begins on a Saturday and ends within some acceptable timescale of it beginning, and with at least a few days grace before the next one kicks off.
Saturday itself sees the bulk of the games. Man Utd and Man City kick us off in style at 12.30pm. No early drinking for the Mancs, yeah right… 3pm then sees all of Chelsea vs Brentford, Leeds vs Fulham, Liverpool vs Burnley, Spurs vs West Ham and Sunderland vs Crystal Palace. The late(r) one is Forest vs Arsenal at 5.30pm.
Just the two on Sunday then with Wolves vs Newcastle at 2pm and Villa vs Everton at 4.30pm.
Which leaves Brighton vs Bournemouth on Monday to conclude GW22.

Yeah – feels good to have 4 City players coming up against Wolves at the Etihad. What could go wrong??? (Rewind to Old Trafford last weekend! Hahaha! I’ve got Guéhi, Phoden, Semenyo & ….the wee blond fella from Norway! 😉 Cheers and good luck with it!

I mean, we cannot not captain Haaland surely?
I know new players always score on their home debut but Semenyo over Haaland is maaaaaaybe viable, more so than Guéhi, but honestly the only other option would be Palmer against a team that has lost a good defender, has their best defender Munoz still out, their other best players coming back from AFCON and with a manager that appears to want out.

Haaland scored 2 goals against Wolves in GW1 (13 points), Semenyo has 1 assist in the past game (6 points), Guehi kept a clean sheet (5 points). I was very tempted too to be bold and captain someone else, but then decided to keep the arm band on Haaland for now. Normally, his mid-season slump ends around now in GW 22 to 25. Last year GW 19 saw him against Leicester scoring to end his drought, and then smashed 2 past West Ham and another in GW 22 vs Ipswich before the ankle injury, so, hopefully a hat-trick this week

Kane overtakes mbappe with 2 goals in 2 mins plus an earned pk and probably player of match now. . C Haaland and switching to kane was the right play than mbappe c.

Guehi has dropped in price from 5.3 to 5.2, cannot figure out why you would drop him with a home game against Wolves, unless the belief is that he will be affected by the Cannot keep CS curse of Man City

or just simply a lot of players will have 4 City players now, 1 has to go before making any other transfers, Guehi is not a definite starter with Diaz coming back
