West Ham and Sunderland get us under way on Saturday at 12.30pm. Good excuse for a long lie in right there.

3pm may prove more interesting to see the City score but other than that… Burnley v Spurs, Fulham v Brighton and Man City v Wolves.

The late one is Bournemouth v Liverpool.

2pm on Sunday sees 3 games; Brentford v Forest, Palace v Chelsea and Newcastle v Villa before Arsenal and Man Utd at 4.30pm

That leaves Everton and Leeds on Monday at 8pm.

The games in full…

  1. How likely is ARS to keep CS?
Who are you guys planning to captain?
    Cheers!

    • My gut says they keep a CS. As of now Bruno F has the armband for me. I don’t know if it will stay that way.

  2. I am not sure that Arsenal CS away to Leeds is as nailed on as everyone thinks. Leeds have scored in all but one match in the last ten GWs.

Admittedly though, they have not come up against a team as strong as Arsenal are defensively (as their run of scoring is against Chelsea, who were unprepared for the intensity, Liverpool, at that time, Liverpool were conceding a lot of chances defensively, Crystal Palace, starting to free fall, the infamous Amorim match and a late winner against Fulham)

They did fail to score away against Liverpool.

My guess is that if Arsenal take them lightly like Chelsea did, or ease off after scoring a few goals like against Kairat, they will score at least one.

  3. Sounds like either Arsenal or Chelsea will have a DGW in GW26. Just depends on which one makes the EFL Cup final.

    • You are right, in addition to the DGW in GW26, there will be a BGW31 for either of them as well as Man City and Crystal Palace or Newcastle and Sunderland as well as either Everton or Wolves.

While most of us may not have Wolves assets, I am reasonably sure, all have 2 from Man City, 3 from Arsenal, 2 from Chelsea and 2 from Everton as well as one from Sunderland and Newcastle.

Therefore, for now, looks like BGW 31 will be the most optimal time to deploy the Free Hit chip.

  4. Made another mistake by using the FT on Dorgu early in the week who is now out injured for at least a couple of months sad
Seriously considering to activate the WC unknw

    • Your team doesn’t look WC necessary to be honest.

      • Thanks ODT, maybe I should rethink the WC. A hit or two might suffice. Have been unusually disciplined with only two hits in 23 GWs smile
