It’s a HUGE DGW! Well, ok, it’s about as big as they’re going to get this season. Wolves and Arsenal prolong GW26 into next week, interrupted by the FA Cup this weekend.
In the meantime Tuesday sees us with 4 games as Chelsea and Leeds, Everton and Bournemouth and Spurs and Newcastle all go at 7.30pm. West Ham and Man Utd start later at 8.15pm.
There’s then 5 on Wednesday with Villa v Brighton, Palace v Burnley, Man City v Fulham and Forest v Wolves in the 7.30pm slot with Sunderland a Liverpool in the later one.
Brentford and Arsenal stand alone on Thursday.
Before we wait until next Wednesday for that last one, namely Wolves v Arsenal.

Would definitely play Guehi over Timber / Gabriel, but keep one of them as first on bench because Spurs are not exactly free scoring. Raya has kept 13 CS so far, my guess is after BGW31, they will keep 3 or 4 more as their fixture list looks easy (oh well, I thought Wolves was a nailed on CS). As reference, Raya had 16 CS the year before in 2023-24. So, would definitely keep double Arsenal defence, which I wish I had of Timber and Gabriel, instead I have Calafiori with Gabriel
, contributing 2 points in a DGW.

I took a punt and did the move you mentioned yesterday. Probably the wrong one but I still have 2 Arsenal players and Timber was not doing much for me anyway.

I really like that move, but looking at my team going forward it was going to be tough for me to pick who to bench, I can always do the move later, dropping Chelsea players is more of a priority for me.
This is how I am setting up, I may switch Hill for Gabriel before the deadline idk.

Ditching Arsenal is a risk but I did the Timber>VVD move.

Agreed, but Timber always gets booked, and Arsenal do concede, so is it really worth doubling up in defence.
And as I say, I currently have 5 in gw31 and don’t know if FH is the best way to go for that week

Yeah, after that draw to Wolves, I was all I do not need 2 Arsenal defenders and Timber doesn’t get DC points so off you go. It’s a done deal for me.

I was going do make this move (I still may do) but I need to save transfers to drop my Chelsea players after the Burnley game.

I don’t know whether to do the move this week, because if I bring in VVD, I don’t know who I can bench if I play him (maybe Haaland if he is out, but other than that, who knows)
