It’s a later KO on Saturday and an odd split at that with just Burnley v Bournemouth and Sunderland v Brighton at 3pm. We then have TWO 5.30pm games with Arsenal v Everton and Chelsea v Newcastle. And then it continues at 8pm with West Ham v Man City.

Sunday looks more normal with Palace v Leeds, Man Utd v Villa and Forest v Fulham at 2pm, followed by Liverpool v Spurs at 4.30pm.

Brentford and Wolves is on Monday evening.

The games in full…

  1. Who out first: Semenyo to Szaboslai or Haaland to Sesko? Ekitike?

  2. Orginally I was going to be able to navigate this BGW using 2 of my 3 transfers but then Gudmundsson had to go and get a RC. Now I Either play 10 ment or use the remaining FTs to field 11. What do you think of these moves?

    Guehi>Thiaw
Gudmundsson>Konsa/Rodon/Esteve/Van Hecke/Collins (This is where I’m not sure who to pick)

Gudmundsson was bench fodder but would have suffice to play this blank. My gut says Esteve since the price is comparable

Or do I play 10 and save a FT? What’s everyone got planned?

    • Play 11.. i was planning to take -4 to field 11 but now with gudmonnsen injury need -8. Will just play the free hit most probably

    • Having same dilemma but I don’t have the luxury of additional FT. I think I’ll most likely take a hit to field 11. Thinking of Thiaw and Andersen for Timber and Gudmonsson.

  3. 2FT’s and zero money, I did Timber >Thiaw and Guehi > Anderson.

  4. 4FT ITB 1m

Rice -Szoboslai for a weeks punt so I can field 11 players?

Not sure on who to captain yet

    • Sounds good HF! I might take out 2 of my 4 FTs (+ 6.4m ITB) to get to where you are, ie. Rice + Mukiele> Wilson + Thiaw. I’ve pottered (call me Graham!) about and it still gives me enough cash to get back in Haaland (probably for Ekitike when the moment is right) with some change!
Hope this helps. I might put up a screenie of my team too, so that I can participate in the discussion. I’m guilty, like a lot of us on here, of not being regular lately (reminds me of a Cliff Richard song, ‘It’s so funny, why we don’t talk anymore’!!! What a reference! Showing my age! ), so here goes…
Cheers mate and speak to you soon!

      • As I have sand to Hammer_Fan only sell Arsenal or City players you don’t want again or can afford to buy back or replace with a better Arsenal or City player, I don’t think playing with ten this GW is that bad.

I have kept Rice but I am thinking about dropping him for Eze or Martinelli, I think everyone has had Rice for a long time and will lose a lot of funds if sold, he has dropped off a bit on getting points but he’s nailed to play 90mins every game and can pop-up with a good amount of points, he’s maybe not worth £7.3m but if you got him at £6.5m or anything starting with a £6m he’s good value imo.

In your case I would just do Guehi for Thiaw you can keep the latter until the end of the season imo, it is what I plan to do.

        • Thanks Term,
But I don’t lose any money on Rice, as this is the 2nd time I’ve had him, so not losing money. Different story for Semenyo and Guehi though (so much money tied up in Semenyo that I will never sell him again I don’t think! . I want to restock on my Arsenal and City assets eventually, but don’t know who exactly yet. I might keep Mukiele but he’s injured so it’s more logical to do this isn’t it?
I’ve got pretty good team value (107.2m), although I know it’s not outstanding compared to this year’s standards. Thankyou for your advice! 😉

    • Do you want to get Rice back in or another Arsenal MID? if you will lose a lot of money on Rice and cannot buy him back that is fine if you don’t want him again or want to replace him anyway.

I am playing just ten and I think it’s fine, you have more FT’s so have more flexibility, but many will be playing with ten or have taken hits, the latter is silly imo because you need to have the player score 4pts to break even and that isn’t easy anymore tbh.

If you can sell one of the Arsenal or Man City players and buy them back for the same price I would do that.

      • I think Rice might be the best option. Out of the 4 that don’t play, Gabriel was the last one I bought.
Just thinking midfield is the better option .
If I ditch Rice, is Szobozslai a good option, or would you suggest someone else

        • Szobozslai is probably the best option.

The best advice I think is not to look at the team you want to put out this GW, but the team for GW32, will you want back any of the players you sell this GW?

        • Cheers Terminators.

I think alot are WC for gw32 aren’t they?

        • I think so, I am not as I used my second WC already, I only have my FH left.

  5. 3ft 0.4itb what you doing here? FC? Or use 2 and field 10 and roll? More than likely Mane & Rice but for who?

  6. I would drop Guehi for Thiaw you can keep the latter until the end of the season imo, it is what I plan to do.

I would guess you have had Rice for a long time and will lose funds if you sell him, I wouldn’t sell him if you want him back again or to bring in another Arsenal MID later, the same for Semenyo, maybe you can sell and buy back the latter though as that is an option, or just upgrade Mane to the best you can.

You could drop Haaland also and buy him back if you want to keep him, to have eleven playing.

I will only have ten players this GW, my team is up a couple from here.

    • Currently tempted with, Guehi & Haaland to Bowen and Thiaw, can buy back later if Haaland finds form again
