G’day people. Didn’t have a bad week, and I can see more and more how other people’s performances affect your own ranking in this type of game, so depsite a couple of errors I went up.
In a COVID-fuelled frenzy last night, I have done a slash and run on my team with a ‘mini – WC’ involving a minus 4, cos I only had 2 FTs. Traded out Jota, Eze & Gvardiol for Saka, Gabriel and SInisterra (couldn’t quite afford Semenyo) and will see what happens over the next couple of rounds. I really don’t feel the need to WC atm, but I may well be swayed into it if I listen to enough bloody ‘kontent kreators’ and their podcasts! See you round smile AJW

Did okay this week despite nada from Jota. Do you think a – 4 for Eze and Jota out for Diaz and ESR is worth it?

People are flocking to Mbeumo, which I guess is reasonable, but I don’t know ODT. As I said before, I’ve bumped up the Arsenal content (could be cause for rude innuendoes, but I’m willing to take the risk!), with a 5.0m Mid to help afford it. Aren’t you concerned about Arsenal being on a wave of form and having some good fixtures coming up?
I know I’m no help, but just something to think about, since you’ve already got 2 Liverpuddlians.
      Speak to you soon! smile

Rodri could be out for the rest of the season. With Kdb on and off injured too, this could have a big impact for both the title race and Fpl.

With my two transfers I’m looking at

    Eze to Mbeumo

    Pedro to Rual

Already have Welbeck and the double Brighton didn’t turn out so good, especially with Roger’s on bench and Pedro coming on late.

Don’t know much about Rual, Will he be a ‘regular’ starter?

      AJW says:

Hey mate – it looks like Jimenez is playing pretty regularly, and getting bigger minutes after those first 3 rounds – it looks like an injury thing. Anyway, do you have enough cash to get up to a 6.0m striker? If not you could also look at Delap from Ipswich (5.5m).!
By the way, good luck in the ‘Luke Lewis Cup’ this weekend (ie. Cronulla vs Penrith) – should be a cracker! smile

      • I have to admit I hadn’t heard of the Luke lewis cup, had to look it up. If the Sharkies can get within 20 of the panthers they’ll be doing well.

      • If I don’t do EZE to Mbeumo I’ll have 6.0 to go Pedro.

Who do you like for 6.0?

        • AJW says:

Good question matie. I’ll have a little look at them. You’ve got Semenyo who is apparently on all the ‘expected’ stats atm, and maybe Smith-Rowe if you don’t have him. But Semenyo has Southampton this weekend, so could be a bit of points-fest (then again, you know how these things work!)
The Luke Lewis Cup I think was an invention of Andrew Moore from the ABC’s NRL team (nice calls with Lewis, and my old favourite, Johnny Gibbs, the legendary but short-lived Manly half-back of the mid-70s!
Speak to you soon matie. By the way, I guess Cronulla will have an ‘anti-Nathan Cleary missile’, probably in the shape of Toby Rudolph or S Talaki (maybe even Cam McInnes!). Watch out for fireworks! smile

        • AJW says:

Oh sugar mate – I read it wrong! You meant a 6m striker!
What about Vardy? Or if you can spare the extra 0.1m, there’s Dhuran or Woodie (from NFO).
