  1. With 5 tabs open, hopefully clicked on the correct one. Did not do a WC like this earlier. Now Arteta, Vardy and Mavididi – please do not jinx it.

  2. I am already planning my team for next GW!
    I am thinking Smith-Rowe >Winks to enable;
    Lankshear > Wood
    Lankshear > DCL
Who is the better option between Wood & DCL?
Will then be playing 3-4-3 instead of 3-5-2.

  3. Newcastle v Man City

  4. Have a great weekend everyone – and more importantly, a wonderful GW. To all those wildcarding, I hope no regrets will ensue! Whatever the case, it’s all about the future, not only the present game week! I can feel an Arsenal steamroller preparing though, and looking forward to these next 3 rounds!
That’s enough blah blah! Ciao and good luck! smile

  5. Why isn’t Haarland scoring goals cry I switched captaincy from Watkins to Haarland.

    • Because it was Gvardiol’s turn, after the crowd ditched him laugh

    • He’ll get chances. In the 2nd half bravo

    • Well got away with not c haaland. Lets see if my c saka can take advantage who i just brought in.

      • Sold palmer to get and c Saka. Worst decision ever. Well knew it would backfire. Horror season continues

  6. Oh my Lord! Gvardiol has single-handedly thrown all my hopes and dreams (and plans for a bright future!) out the window with one careless goal! On Sunday night, stricken with a Covid-induced fever, I decided I needed more Arsenal, and sold Gvardiol, Jota + Eze for Gabriel, Saka + Sinisterra, and I thought that this -4 might recuperate it’s value over time….BUT after 4 days cooped up in the spare room (and listening to millions of hours of considerations) I yesterday fooled around with the idea of seeing how a WC might look if I had decided to use it – well it looked so good and it meant that I was wiping the ‘minus 4 hit’ while renewing my team, that I actually pressed the button! And then confirmed it!
I can tell you now everyone, that I have had my moment, I have reached the high point of my FPL rankings career AND it is all downhill from here. I was ranked around the 77k mark until Newcastle v City kicked off – now I’m almost certainly going to slide down the slippery slope of the impetuous, presumptuous and imprudent FPL manager, to rankings disaster!!!
Bye bye hopes and dreams, and hello vanilla WC team (as well as incoming Jota, Eze & Watkins goals – cos they’re some of the lads that this moronic joker swept aside for his pipe-dreams!!!).
See you real soon guys, on the other end of a hiding!
    Cheerio, AJW 😉
P.S. I hope I don’t come across as someone who exaggerates things too much! smile

    • When Arsenal win 3-0 you’ll be singing for Gabriel yes

      • Yeah, watch Vardy shatters Arsnol hype with a brace rofl

        • Probably Ivan! You can almost predict this happening now! smile Cheers.

        • AJW, it’s only because I have Vardy and didn’t get time to wildcard this week. By the way, a goal from Saka would be nice as I managed to sneak him in for a hit smile

      • Hahaha thanks Gavy! And if Saka and Havertz score, I’ll be singing Hallelujah! Cheers mate – it’s all just a big game, I know, but like in board games etc, I always tend to make a ‘slight’ noise when things go badly (or really well!) .
        Speak to you soon! 😉

    • Wildcard teams looks good, that being said, lots of games to go, so plenty of opportunities for further self-loathing
