Google Translate is so cute and polite – replaced effing with damn laugh

Anyway, yeah… Off we go on Friday this week as Leicester welcome Forest at 8pm.

Looking forward to seeing Raz at 8.05pm laugh

No lunchtime game on Saturday, so 4 of the buggers at 3pm with Villa v Bournemouth, Brentford v Ipswich, Brighton v Wolves and Man City slaughtering Southampton.

Everton and Fulham go at 5.30pm. Ooooh, what a treat for the neutrals….

2pm on Sunday is a congested affair with Chelsea v Newcastle, Palace v Spurs and West Ham v Man Utd.

Prime time Sunday is reserved for Arsenal and Liverpool. As it should be. At least they got one telly game correct this week….

I’ve been at this for a while. 12 plus years but this season I feel like such a rookie. Stuff needs to change. What do you all think? I need some serious advice. Who stays who goes? All ideas are welcome except wild card. I squandered that one already.

I think Trossard to Mbuemo would make sense (form and pens). Gabriel may be out, so Gabriel to Ait-Nouri to fund it. Keep in mind there are not many points between teams. Small changes or points swings, could make a big difference in rank.

      • Agree. My 81pts this week, went from 1.7mil rank to 560k.

On Gabriel, Arteta said and again one has to take with a pinch of salt, anything said by him, “Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta on Gabriel: Yes, so we have a training session today. If he can complete that he will be available. He hasn’t had any training session yet but if he’s able to do that today he will be available in the squad.”

Looking at the transfers out, going by Sod’s law, he will start and score a header at the end to win 1-0

Having the big 3 is making rest of ur team average. U can only c one of haaland palmer or salah. The 6m forwards are doing well. Wood, wissa, cunha, raul are all good options. I would get 2 of the first 3. If u wanna keep big 3 downgrade gabriel to ait nouri for it. As mentioned already trossard needs to go for mbuemo.

I want to get rid of robertson. But i also think time to sell watkins.
    Which has more priority?
    A. Watkins for wissa/ Cunha (have Wood) and who of these 2? For context i have mbuemo and ait nouri
    B. Sell robbo for literally anyone.. could get even trent or gabriel soon.

    W/ 2ft, thinking of doing:

    Watkins and Smith-Rowe
    to
    Wissa and Saka…

    Which pair would you choose?
    Cheers!

G’day everybody – after reaching a high point in GW 5 (77k rank), my team has been employing ‘lead balloon’ tactics, and I have sunk to 493k! I don’t know what to do to ‘stop the rot’, and was going to save up trades (I have 1 FT this week) till after GW11 to decide on a change, but I am tempted to rage trade out DCL > Wissa this week, except that DCL has Southampton, but….they put up a staunch effort against City, and after having glimpses of DCL on MOTD, I believe he’s lacking confidence, and Wissa has come back with a bang. It would even net me a 0.1m profit!
Do I do it, or wait? I dunno, I feel the gods are fooling with me atm!
Thanks very much in advance and here’s the team:

Help…have no idea what to do with this lot. Could swap Son out for Salah and TAA for Ait Nouri -4? Not sure its worth it. Hoping Son, Gabriel and Wood start. I am sinking fast.
    Thanks guys!

Not much wrong to be honest. Positions are tight if your captain does or doesn’t score well it can make a big difference. The sight of Iversen is giving me nightmares of the Iversen Ward combo of yesteryear.

G’day, at a bit of a cross roads. Would love to bring in salah but not sure if I should. 1ft and 1.6itb. Bringing in Salah would mean a -4 and would limit the transfers I can do in the future with the move I’ve posted below. On the other hand I could roll and have the chance to bring him in without taking a hit next window and reassess then. Just feel Brighton will come out to play pool and get punished like they did Chelsea so is rolling this week going to hurt me?

If I roll I could, depending on how the games go, being in some differentials instead which could help me get some points too.

Ok I have found the transfer I might do the most.

      Haaland + Rogers > Jackson + Salah.

      Reasoning –
I want to captain Salah for the next 3 games then Palmer after that.

Jackson will sit on my bench for the next two but I want him in for Haaland after that anyway.

I’ll have 1.4 in the bank to do any transfers which will most likely be foden to saka especially if foden blanks this weekend.

      What do we think?

      • AJW says:

Hey mate – good questions. Just remember that a differential is only valuable if it beats the ‘big name’ player(s) that you’re replacing? E.g. Is Jackson+Salah going to score more than Haaland + Rogers, over a period of several weeks? I think that this combo might just work for you, seeing how Pool have SOU very soon, and Chelsea run in to a good series of fixtures soon.
I think that bringing Saka back in soon, is a good move too. I took him out and obviously suffered from his haul the other day, as he is quite highly owned (voilà a good example of a gun outscoring the differentials who replaced him!).
So yeah, I guess to put it in a nutshell (sorry, that’s a friggin’ big nutshell!), I kind of agree with your moves, but I’m really too scared to make them myself. I’ll be aiming for a trio of Haaland, Palmer + Saka (which enables me to get in TAA eventually!), but I feel like I’m missing out on something!
Good luck, and I hope Sydney weather is good! 😉

        • makeya says:

Mate, great answer and totally agree. I was 100% thinking out loud with my posts above so it’s great to have some more thoughts weigh in! For better or for worse I swapped out Foden and Gabriel for Salah and Hall. Not quite ready to get rid of Haaland over the next two but worried I’ll miss out on a Salah captain this week. Let’s hope they both haul (if you have Salah now haha). Weather outside is weather mate, you never know what it’ll be in Sydney haha!!

Good luck this game week! smile
