Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Silly Gameweek 26. Only in England could we have a ‘Winter Break’ in which all teams still play and yet is punctuated (somewhat) with FA Cup replays for four of them. We say good on Klopp for showing them the finger and highlighting the absurdity of it all. Politics aside, GW26 will be held over two weekends, beginning today on the 8th Feb and concluding a week on Monday, the 17th.
There’s an unequal split too, with four games this weekend and six on the next. It makes for an uncertain and very long GW but it is what it is. To make it even more odd we don’t have a single 3pm Saturday game on either weekend. Why? TV, that’s why. They’ve seen the opportunity and taken it; every single game is now scheduled in a TV slot.
We shall stop ranting though and let you crack on with enjoying the longest of long GW’s…

No plans for the WC yet. If there are no other issues I am hoping for 2 FT before GW 28. Vardy is coming back for Kun and Mahrez is going out for JWP or Redmond. Most likely will take a hit and replace Ramsdale with McCarthy.

Ivan…I chickened out from capt Aguero. I just freaked thinking Pep would play him and some of the others would score and he would be taken off really early. It is sure to bite me in the arse lol.

Well, I went for it, that was the reason to bring him in. You know, with him is either feast or famine. On the top of that, kept Mahrez for that game only, which cost me a hit, ditching Maddison for Traore and getting Tanga for Lundstram. I could have just use the 2 FT and replace Vardy and Mahrez but there we go. Let’s hope it was a right decision, we’ll find out tomorrow

Message to GP. Saw the opening part of the Scotland – England clash at Murrayfield and the military band was playing 500 Miles by the Proclaimers before the anthems! The whole crowd was singing along too! Crazy scenes. You guys have a great sense of humor up north of Hadrian’s. Was heart-warming.

I doubt that’s a useful transfer, I think foster is fine. If you’re on a wc then it’s always useful to look at your gk too
