Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15+16
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15 & 16.
Given that GW15 begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday and then GW16 starts on Monday we hope you can forgive us for not squeezing in any other articles. In fact they are so closely related we have simply decided to put up a joint Live Match Chat for the pair. Seems lazy, and it probably is, but it also makes sense. Crack on and chat about both, basically.
Not to complicate matters all you really need to know is the following;
GW15 begins at 11am on the 26th.
GW16 begins at 1.30pm on the 28th.
The games in full…
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW’s 15 & 16 from all at FF247!
Thanks for reading Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15&16.

2FT, £1.2m in the bank. Currently building towards FH18, maybe TC/BB 19 (not if United Burnley is rescheduled).
Original planning involved Mahrez to Son, which requires £0.3m raised from the other FT. However:
a) Spurs have looked particularly poor the past few weeks (gamble without has finally paid off thank god, even if KDB hasn’t punished)
b) Fulham look a decent unit now (though Leeds and Sheffield are still tasty)
c) Mahrez must start against Everton surely?!!!!!!
In terms of players to replace this week, DCL is the only wholly unappealing fixture (with no DGW19 to boot). Grealish could also go instead of Mahrez.
Feel like there is a lot of directions I could go here, any thoughts appreciated:
a) Mahrez/Grealish to Son and DCL to Wood (nice 2 fixtures and DGW)
b) Mahrez/Grealish to Son and DCL to Adams (less appealing 2 fixtures but better form and nicer DGW)
c) KDB to Son (and Konsa to Robertson/TAA, to play ahead of DCL this week)
d) Konsa to Cresswell
e) DCL to Martial
f) Miazek to Areola/Johnstone as BB19 prep
Probably a few more variations I could chuck in, but that covers the main ideas.
Thoughts??
Many thanks all x
Bean, if you’re building to BB or TC in 19 then you just need to think about GW19 assets as you’re FHing in GW18.
Therefore I’d ditch Mahrez immediately and forget trying to second guess when he will or will not play. Get Soucek and don’t overthink it.
Hey hope you all had a good GW! Bit of a pickle right now.. plan to FH18 Trip/BB19
Would appreciate any advice
1 FT 2.3 ITB Not sure if I should still bring in Son? My thought process is to swap KDB for Son and the following GW Lamptey for Robb or someone cheap like Taylor which could allow me to get Vardy in for Watkins for next couple of GWs. Alternatively can just swap Grealish for Son and Lampety for a cheap def next GW!
Thanks!
Bear, as I’ve just told Bean above, if you’re FHing in 18 and building towards 19 then only consider GW19 options, otherwise you’re wasting transfers.
Firm up your plan for GW19 – who do you want in that team?
Penny for your thoughts managers.
If you had 11 DGW players(keeper included) with a bench full of SGW players (those being DCL,Grealish,Son and Martinez) for GW 19, would u play your BB ? Or take out some DGW players for the SGW players and play the TC chip (on Salah or Bruno)?
That’s my team for a better idea.
Doc, on current form I would only be considering Bruno for a TC that week.
I have come to the conclusion that BB in GW19 is very difficult to build for without a WC.
The reason being the likes of Taylor, although he looks a great option ahead of the DGW is a rubbish looking option for the DGW and beyond.
Leeds and West Ham options look great cheap enablers for a BB (Dallas, Ayling, Coufal, Soucek, Harrison etc etc).
Morning all.
What should I do here ?
1ft 0.1 itb
S, what are your plans for GW-8 & DGW19? They will determine your next moves.
Gw18 free hit. BB 19 was the plan cookie
1FT. 1.2M ITB. What to do?
A. Upgrade Steer to who?
B. Sell Matip and get who?
Martinez
Dallas Coufal Bednarek
KDB Bruno Salah Son
Bamford Adams DCL
Steer Taylor Bissouma Matip
Little Red – plans for GW18 & DGW19?
Steer could become the Leeds’ goalie, if you’re BB in 19.
Or you could just chill and take 2FT into next week.
Son could be relegated, though I’d hesitate before doing it this GW (despite their wretched form).
Morning All,
Seems a shame to waste my WC…
Anything here needs to be fixed ASAP? I only have 0.4 ITB
Thank you,
CC
Chelsea Chick what are you planning for GW18 & DGW19?
I played my wildcard last night. And boy, it was a struggle. I’m not FH in 18 and so a combination of that, Spurs’ feeble form and not wanting to sabotage my side too much led to mainly a tidying up exercise. Eg my original plan had been Bruno to Son but obviously I didn’t inflict that on myself.
If FH in 18 and BB in 19 then focus on DGW players – eg you could get Fab and the Leeds goalie in, etc.
If not FH in 18 I’d recommend looking at Arsenal players – very good for filling in the gaps and they play in 18. Nice run of fixtures at a January sales’ price.
Thanks both.
BB for GW19 for sure but still not sure if I’ll FH GW18. Suppose I need to decide!
As you say Kralin, don’t want to rip my team apart.
CC
CC, I don’t see how you can properly BB in 19 without FHing in 18.
Therefore I would build a strong BB19 with your WC (loads of cheap options – Coufal, Soucek, McCarthy, Bednarek, Dallas, Bamford, Harrison etc etc).
Thanks Cookie!
Here’s my attempt. WC active.
Good to go?
CC
CC I’d give it 8/10 so nice one!
I don’t like Dunne or Romeu in there. Controversial maybe but I would have Antonio if fit (if not Adams) instead of DCL. I’d then upgrade Dunne & Romeu.
Thanks Cookie, appreciate your help!
I didn’t like those 2 either, but as you can see, it’s down to funds.
Hadn’t considered the DCL move, but it’s definitely worth thinking about…
Was actually considering shipping out Vardy, creates more funds and I’ll lose less. Good idea or not?!
CC, selling Vardy obviously opens up more options for you plus by all accounts he may well get a rest today.
