Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15+16

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15 & 16.

Given that GW15 begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday and then GW16 starts on Monday we hope you can forgive us for not squeezing in any other articles. In fact they are so closely related we have simply decided to put up a joint Live Match Chat for the pair. Seems lazy, and it probably is, but it also makes sense. Crack on and chat about both, basically.

Not to complicate matters all you really need to know is the following;

GW15 begins at 11am on the 26th.

GW16 begins at 1.30pm on the 28th.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW’s 15 & 16 from all at FF247!

  1. Which would you prefer:

    1. Salah, KDB, Son and Fernandes and forwards would have to be DCL, Bamford and someone 6.7 or less.
    2. Salah, Son, KDB/Fernandes, Grealish and forwards DCL, Bamford, Vardy

    • Is this for this week? It’s believed Vardy will not play so on that basis it’s got to be option 1. If it’s long term though I’d probably favour option 2 as there isn’t many scoring 3rd strikers right now.

      • Hadn’t heard the news on Vardy Matt. I’ve currently got team 2 with KDB. Just not sure what route to take this week!

        • Stick with route 2 I’d say. The Vardy news could be wrong but the comments made by Rodgers kind of confirm it.

        • If that’s the case then I’d probably need to sort my bench considering I have Kilman and Lewis who are not getting minutes! Annoyingly I don’t have anything in the bank!

        • I would try and have atleast 14 players. Even if one of them will only get a point.

    • Probably number 2

  2. Roll the FT? I’m a little concerned at only having one starter on my bench though. Especially with the inevitable rotations. Mendy to Anguissa/Bissouma is about my only option though, which isn’t overly inspiring. Although it will have to be done at some stage.

    • I’d probably roll the transfer there Banjo. Don’t think it’s worth anything but like you say Mendy to Anguissa/Bissouma is the only move that makes sense.

  3. Hello,
With Lamptey still out I’m looking at a replacement and I think I’m ready to take a punt on an Arsenal defender given the fixtures. I know, that sounds crazy, but the fixtures are very good and I’m building for GW18.
Which one should I go for though? Holding, Bellerin, Tierney?

    • Holding.

    • That is a punt!
If I had to pick one it’d be Bellerin, although I recently ditched him and it’s worked out well :laugh2:

  4. KDB to Son for a -4?

    • Do you have Kane?

      • Morning Matt, no don’t have any spurs coverage at present

        • Hmm then maybe one is worth it. Not sure I like it though.

        • Am worried about no owning KDB as it could get a haul against Everton – could he be rested? He has looked off the pace past couple of games

        • I don’t see him being rested by who knows with Pep.

    • Thats what i’ve done Mitro, KdB and Vardy to Son and Kane, Could all go pear shaped, but worth a gamble i think!

      • Seems a good move based on Spurs upcoming fixtures

    • Hi Mitro! I’m considering KDB out for Fernandes but feel really unsure about the move! I get the latter is in better form but KDB can always turn up!

    • Not for me, Mitro. That has huge potential to screw you. Personally, I’m sticking by KdB.

    • Should I just roll with my team and hope that KDB gets a haul!

      • That’s a damn good team! I’d be more worried about no starters on to bench and potential rotations, but any transfers there are boring aren’t they!

  5. Would you take a hit and do Bernardo to somebody? I have 1.1 itb but used my FTs already.

  6. What do you guys think of my WC. Would have liked to have got raphinha in but had to sacrifice for robbo. Feel it’s a fairly solid team but maybe is a bit boring. Kane will prob become vardy gw19 and so I will have a decent setup for dgw

    • Looks fine to me. Bit formulaic as you say but half the point of a WC is usually that in terms of pointing at where the points are coming from.

    • Looks good but if you did want Raphinia you could downgrade a keeper as rotating them rarely works out.

    • Thought Salah had to go
