Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15+16

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15 & 16.

Given that GW15 begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday and then GW16 starts on Monday we hope you can forgive us for not squeezing in any other articles. In fact they are so closely related we have simply decided to put up a joint Live Match Chat for the pair. Seems lazy, and it probably is, but it also makes sense. Crack on and chat about both, basically.

Not to complicate matters all you really need to know is the following;

GW15 begins at 11am on the 26th.

GW16 begins at 1.30pm on the 28th.

  1. For anyone panicking about this GW, try not to worry yourself too much.
    I have Stones, Cancelo, Zouma, Taylor, KdB, DCL & Kane – which has left me on 25 points with just Salah left to go.
    Which funnily enough is bang on the average score for this week!
    There will be the odd few of us that have still managed 40+, and well done to them, you’ll be seeing green arrows for sure.
    For the rest of us, just laugh it off – and be thankful that you’re healthy enough to be reading this.

    • Similar to me KDB, Stones, Dias, Coufal, Taylor, Kane, Anguissa, DCL. I do have Salah captain and 28 points

      • Thankfully my armband is on him too. If he bangs in a few it could still be an average GW with green arrows. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the GW average is just 25 points so far.

        • Yeah well I have Kane as captain and Son as vice!

          The FPL should be opened and I should be allowed to change to a player that has not yet played.

        • I never do that for the unlikely reason a game gets called off.

    • Spurs are at home, they should go to the ground put the ball on the spot and have Son pass the ball to Kane who dribbles the ball in the net and thus win the game and get the three points.

      The people at Fulham have obviously not been obeying the rules, they also shouldn’t be paid while they are off either, millions of other normal people are suffering because of people flouting the rules like these players and staff.

      I’m on 20 points with just Salah left to go.
      I have Dier, Son, Kane, Stones, KDB, Taylor, even Anguissa (who could helped for 2 points from the bench but not even that)
      Some will say it’s the same for everyone but I disagree a bit, this gameweek is all about luck as we didn’t have any information before the deadline, and some will be more fortunate than others.
      In particular I think the ones building a team for GW19 will be much better than the ones building for GW18 (like me), this is part of the reason I invested so much in City and Spurs, whereas the people piling up Leeds players for GW19 will be in a much better position.
      Covid really ruined everything this year…

      • Yeah I agree it’s not the same for everyone. Some people have eleven still

      • That is very unfortunate, Frenchie. And yes, Covid really did ruin everything this year. My wife’s workmate died on Boxing Day. And a guy I work with lost his dad a few weeks back. Being healthy but a few points behind the average score this week really ain’t that bad.

  2. So one is to assume that the following games are off as well then?

    Burnley – Fulham
    Chelsea – Man City
    Man City – Brighton (possibly)

    • Think we find out on City later today: they are all being tested it’s too early to say but they will have a fixture pile up

      • It doesn’t matter if they are being tested, it may not show up for two weeks to get a positive result.

    No confirmation other than tonight’s postponed.

    Got to think Sunday’s game is at risk too.

  4. So, BUR – FUL on 03/01 also likely to be off.
    This way apparently, the DGW looks like have a high chance of being SGW or even BGW.
    WHU, LIV, FUL, LEE and LEI have double home games. FUL has (CHE 15/01, MUN 20/01) – CHE game is just on the boundary of 2 weeks isolation from now.

    • It’s all going to change the blanks and the doubles surely

    • True! I can’t believe both mendy and Mitchell played, So lucky to having 4 points coming in for KDB & DCL! Just need TAA and Salah (c) to go ballistic tonight!
