Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15+16

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Xmas Special GW15 & 16.

Given that GW15 begins on Saturday and ends on Sunday and then GW16 starts on Monday we hope you can forgive us for not squeezing in any other articles. In fact they are so closely related we have simply decided to put up a joint Live Match Chat for the pair. Seems lazy, and it probably is, but it also makes sense. Crack on and chat about both, basically.

Not to complicate matters all you really need to know is the following;

GW15 begins at 11am on the 26th.

GW16 begins at 1.30pm on the 28th.

  1. There is plenty of time to cancel the pool game as well :rofl:

  2. This season we need at least 2 COVID chips.

    • They should create some extra chips indeed.
      These are unprecedented times and one off chip at least would help.

    • They do the free hit and the wildcard :hippo:

    • The Fantasy NFL that I play the league manager can allow Covid places on the bench, in the league I am in we have been allowed one, you can only put a player that has been designated to have covid or tested positive for covid by the NFL in this place on your roster, there is also an injured reserve place on the roster and again the player has to be designated as an injured reserve player.

      There was talk about the Spurs game yesterday, so what the FPL should have done is open the game up and allowed people to change captains and vice’s to players that have not yet played if they wanted to, it is very simple, but the FPL people are lazy and don’t care.

  3. Well now I get to double Bruno’s score and if Salah manages something it may turn out to be okay.

    • Unless Chelsea need it postponed 😉

    • The 5 are rumoured to be Jesus, Walker, Torres, Cancelo and Ederson

      • What about the other players, they may have covid as well but not enough yet to test positive, it takes two weeks apparently, so if no more have tested why was the game called off if they were tested before the game and five found to be positive and they test them the next day and it is still only those five, thus the game could have gone ahead, just you wait and before the Chelsea game another tests positive :wacko:

        Hopefully the season is a disaster for the FA and Prem as they don’t seem to give a stuff and cannot be bothered to do anything pro-active.

        • I don’t think you know what you’re talking about.

          Two weeks? My wife and I got our positive results back within 24 hours of our test on Monday. And we don’t play for Manchester City.

          Quiet now.

        • I think he means it takes 2 weeks post exposure to test positive. Not for the results to come in.

          Also it doesn’t take 2 weeks. 4 days is about the median time

        • I didn’t realize you’d tested positive, GP. Fingers crossed it passes without any major symptoms.
