PRE-SEASON HUB 2020/21
Introduction
Gone are the days of Premier League teams jetting off to China, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia for their pre-season preparations – at least for this pre-season. Here’s hoping things in the world are again on the right side of normal this time next season and I for one will never again take the Premier League Asia Trophy for granted.
In this shortened period between the 2019-20 season ending and the 2020-21 season beginning (consider that Manchester United & Manchester City players will not even be through passport control with their families as they head on holiday whilst Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham commence a stretch of their legs with their first pre-season matches), I will again document the ins and outs and ups and downs of all 20 Premier League teams pre-season on this article as we hurtle towards the new season.
Below is a guide to the matches CONFIRMED so far – there will be more. For instance, as you’ll see, there are clubs who have not yet announced any matches. Seeing as all games will be behind closed doors anyway, I would expect the clubs to be transparent about their matches, not least to let their own supporters know what’s going on and I’ll be there to take advantage.
As is the norm – if you feel comfortable in doing so – please record any and all pre-season news here under the relevant team comment. I’ll round up each day with anything missed relating to line-ups, goals, assists, injuries, playing positions etc.
You’ll find a comment relating to each of the 20 teams below.

I have a feeling Bowen is going to have a good season, probably 0.5 too expensive for me at the moment, i will start with Soucek just because of his 5.0 price tag, Haller has made me uncertain about Antonio now as well! Looks like their attack is slowly coming together.

Nice one GP
Very helpful GP. :good:
Upgraded my team so now it got TAA in it, I also downgraded it so now it,s salah free.
Could Willian at arsenal be worth a punt?
Salah to willian enables TAA and azpi instead of two 4,5 defenders. Might ju be worth it.
With TAA its a 2-6-2 i guess. Looks ok?
Hey Allan so are you benching KDB and Fernandes for GW1? Ryan and TAA look good, Saliba appears to be a shrewd choice given Arsenal’s first two games. Triple CHE seems a bit OTT especially given two of them aren’t proven in the PL. I try to avoid a triple up generally – eggs/basket etc. Willian looked good at the end of the season so if he continues that form and is on set pieces then it’s not a bad shout but someone more ITK than I would need to confirm if he is going to be on set pieces. Mitrovic looks decent at that price and knows how to score PL goals. Your choice of bench players could be genius (and template) if things go the way we hope they do. My biggest worry is the lack of Salah, GW1, v Leeds – that could go seriously wrong for you.
Yes, benching kdb and bruno it’s just too much work to bring them in later. Gw1 always shocks you in some way and to have your two first ft’s tied up already before gw1 feels like a hit-taking way to go for me… And since they dont play in gw1 and alot of people will want them for gw2 there could be some price changes there too…
On the no-salah thing, it’s just one of those give and take things. One premium player vs two half premium. Not sure on wich way to go there.
And 3xChe isn’t great, i know;)
Morning all. Just voted for the Captain’s poll GW1 and realized that KDB is tied with Salah at top position.
