Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 6

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get.
Next up to the examination table are Josh721 and TJ our team-sheet guru.

Just wondering what transfers to make I got 64 points this week but only bains out of my defenders actually scored above 1 point so I’m thinking a touch up there

    Hi Guys

Just wondering what trades I should do this week
Doesn’t really help that I’ve got 0.0 in the bank

Any Suggestions? I played 3-4-3 this week and I got 78 points

You might want to slowly let go one of Sonton defence, you could just save your free transfer and once you have 2 of them just get rid of clyne and bertand and get a cheaper defence and you can use that money to maybe by idk aguero? just a thought

Harry we have no games this weekend with the International break upon us, so just hold for now and see if any injuries pop up first. Sometimes your transfers are basically dictated by injuries. If everyone comes out ok, I be looking to drop Lloris first for a cheap keeper and possibly the Saints defenders after GW12. Think you have to raise that money for Kun. I would even consider dropping one of Cesc or ADM to a Downing or Chadli to get Kun in for Pelle anytime after week 12.

ADM price drop is stressing me out.

    Can do either:

ADM & Moreno out/ Sanchez & Dummett in

    or

Tadic & Moreno out/ Wally and Dummett in

Which would you prefer (if either? )

Thanks Josh & TJ! But I do want to clarify that bowling is not a sport. And T.J I feel like I could have answered about half those questions on your behalf. 😉

Also a big thanks to Peakster for gathering the managers for the profiles.

Thanks Josh and TJ! Great read chaps.

Josh, i knew there was a reason i liked you. I love a bit of bowling and country music too. Bowled for my university. Annoyingly never broken 200, despite getting 7 strikes in a row once in the first 7 frames! I’ll leave you to work out just how badly i tanked once the occaision got to me and the crowd had gathered! Ha! It was almost impossible not to break 200 but i managed it. Sooo embarrassing.

And i think Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith, Pat Green or the legend Mr J Cash are my favs.

Thanks lads, and thanks Peaky for another good interview. smile

Nice job Josh and TJ, thanks for doing the interview! Josh, I remember Donovan’s winning goal too- my younger brother and I were watching the match at my house and we went mental when he scored that- I’ll never forget it!! smile

And TJ, the man behind the team sheets! I look for your posts exactly one hour before kick off for every single match, ever since the FFC site. You are the MAN- thank you!! I play tennis too, been playing that and football since I was little and it’s my second favorite sport to play.

Well done gents, and thanks again to Peaky for doing these. It’s nice to learn a bit about the people we chat with on the boards all week.

Red – that game was simply amazing!! I was actually watching it in a pub with about 100 other people and we just went crazy when that goal was scored. It was great! Someone even put together a video showing different people’s reactions to that goal and it gives me goosebumps every time I watch it haha.

      TJ says:

Thanks, I’m pleased to hear that. I’m on twitter most of the time so I get all the teamsheets as they come out. Plus my twitter client uses live streaming, so I get them by the second. smile
