Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 6

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get.
Next up to the examination table are Josh721 and TJ our team-sheet guru.

This is my team. I got 0.1m in the bank and I have 2 ft’s. Should I just wait and see what International Break will bring? So shite Sanchez scored again yesterday. >.<

Aaah yes, just read that Sanchez as a game versus FC Suarez (leg cutters) 4 days before the United game, he travels back to England 3 days before. That must do something on his body.

So focussed on Sanchez I stopped noticing I already have a super balanced team. Only worry now should be Fabregas. >.< SO SILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      NIN says:

Raz – It depends what your plan for those FT’s is i suppose. Sanchez’ goal against Swansea tipped me over the edge and i bought him last night. If you can hold off then do so as it’s better to be safe than sorry. If you cant, get the moves done and keep your fingers crossed that nothing happens during the break.

      • Raziel says:

Indeed. Oscar or Hazard might be the better option for GW12. People just going all out crazy. I noticed Sanchez playing much deeper when Wally came on the pitch, also he has international break with travel (he travels back to England from South America just 3 days before the United fixture) and fitness worries for not only him but also Fabregas and who knows whom else will get injured during this 2 weeks. I’ll just sit on my hand and hope it won’t bleed too hard. :p

        • NIN says:

Chile vs Uruguay is a friendly so i would imagine Alexis will sit that one out or only play 45 minutes. Some leeway will be given considering Arsenal have a big game against United next.

        • Raziel says:

Still, he has to travel from South America to London with just 3 days left to the game. Jetlag much? Different climate……………… oi……………..

Holding my transfers at the moment. I have 2. I can always do Pelle to Austin and Fabs to Sanchez if I want. Though I prefer having Wally-DiMaria-Fabs(orHaz) and Siggy (than trying to fit Sanchez in there).

        • NIN says:

The last time there was hysteria over international breaks and air miles etc, this happened 😉

        • Silverback says:

Better put Sanchez as cap then this is what he could look like with jetlag

        • Raziel says:

Oi Silverback, it’s a 3-way tie between you, Horse and me. Which means we have to do something tonight. The cup thing. Havant versus Preston. I’ll give my list now I might adjust it right before time though since I don’t know the teams or which players play there. HAHA, at the moment it’s just a guessing game. 😉

        • NIN says:

Hahaha, that’s quite disturbing i must say. Looks like a Brian Blessed/Mesut Ozil hybrid laugh

Anyone got any advice on my team.

    Afternoon folks – hope you’re all well – here’s a quick question:

Would you play… yes, ackhem *coughs* Bobby Zamora *coughs* over Downing?

Zamora is actually starting to play well and has Newcastle away next. Downing has Everton away next. Sigurdsson has City away next but don’t think I could ever bench him.

So… would you do it? laugh thinking it’s too risky but

  5. 29
    NIN says:

Fabregas has been yellow flagged. Let the games begin!

    Ant0800 says:

Ime currently sitting 6th in my mini league with £500 52 points away, can I catch up?. Or is 52 points to much.
