Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 6
Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get.
Next up to the examination table are Josh721 and TJ our team-sheet guru.

Hi guys , new to this site . I ‘m asking your advice : Keep Valencia or bring in Sakho or Austin and spend the rest of the money elsewhere?
Sorry for the uploaded image!!!!!!
Welcome to the side, Hrundi. Either Sakho or
Austin would be my preference, but if you post your whole
squad and money situation it’s easier to give a more educated answer.
Lovely pic by the way!!!
This really did make me laugh out loud!
Thoughts on my team!!!
Hari, I think the number of dream team players you have speaks for itself! Great team.
Would look to strengthen your bench over the coming few weeks with rotation soon to kick in come the midweek fixtures.
Hari, I believe Dummett doesn’t fit in or is he in charge of holding the door and carrying the bags? I have double Saints and I am contemplating dropping one after GW12 to avoid double coverage through the rougher part of their fixtures. Although some would say that the fixtures are really not that hard considering how well they are playing and the bad form of some of the so called big teams.
Literally awesome But good to nurture your subs. Maybe switch Mannone to Krul?
i’ll doing that next week
Hey Hari this is a very strong team you have made some very good choices early on , you have had 4 hits as well TV 106.1 very good just keep an eye on form & fixtures try to improve your bench if possible one ? Are you a gamer good luck you could end up in top 100
thanks mate
Thats a crazy team !! Man ! But yeah to get into the top 1000 you got to strengthen your bench. I guess you can do that easily over the coming weeks. Watch out for Sanchez and Fabregas after intl break !
Thanks, ya i’ll be upgrading mannone and obertan to krul and Wanyama in coming weeks
So guys, how much do you think Sterling will drop over the int. break? .2? I’m bringing him in, but I don’t wanna lose .2 so I’ll wait if he’s dropping that much or more.
.2 is probably a safe assumption, it sounds about right, but many might be waiting until closer to the GW, so a possible 3rd drop on the last day or first day of the next GW could be in the cards.
Evening all what’s this with Sterling Cody who will you take out & do we assume Sturridge is back soon
Nice fixtures, nobody has him, he keeps grabbing points and Sturridge is close. I have a gut feeling. Also I’m dropping two players who aren’t getting full 90’s.
Thanks man! Gonna do Walcott -> Sterling (reverse last week’s transfer) and Naismith -> Austin. Sterling could be a nice punt for me in my league since everyone has dropped him. He keeps grabbing points.
Heres one for you bored lot :- Which two members of England’s Euro 96 squad did not play in the English Premier League at the time ?
Evening Elle,
Gazza would be one.
And Ince? Was he at Inter then?
Gazza + Ince are correct.
Platty?
Des Walker?
Give it up Chins Cookie already has it
Balls.
Who did Balls play for?
Themself
Evening all, apologies for not being on today, trying to do 5 days work in 3 days due to the awards bash. Anyway have a pop at this one –
Which ex-Premier League player is the only player to have won the Champions League, UEFA Cup, Premier League and FA Cup, and also been relegated from the Premier League?
Ziege ?
Nope, I don’t believe he was relegated but nice try Matt.
Isn’t Ziege is the answer to “Who scored in a Munich derby, a Merseyside derby, a Milan derby, a north London derby and a Teeside derby? ” or something like that
Yes Matt something like that!
Hey Init I would say you have to do 5 days work in 3 because you spend to much time on football sites only joking this ? Is to hard give us a clue got to be in this order Ex Chl , MU , Lpool or Villa player come on give us a clue
Ok Silver 3 of the clubs involved are Ajax, Inter and Arsenal. I won’t give you the relegation one as that gives it away.
Guess I was wrong then
Bergkamp played for those 3 clubs. Just sayin.
Kanu also played for them clubs aswell
Ooh. Is that the answer? Relegated with Pompey?
Kanu it is! The other club was Portsmouth.
Yay
Steve Finnan
No mate not him.
Anelka? Did he go down with Bolton?
Forget that. Sure he never played for Ajax or Inter!!
Crap had it to slow
