imageWelcome to the FF247 Site Team Game-week 2 FPL Tips article.
We did ok last week, nothing spectacular but fairly satisfying. The average was 44. We posted 70. Our GW rank was around the 40k mark. We had hoped that some of our players would perform, we didn’t expect they all would. And some did and some didn’t. That’s the nature of fantasy football. Our midfielders and forwards did on the whole. Our defence stank the place out. But then many peoples did. Quite how Firmino walked away from a 7 goal thriller with just 2 points to his name is anybody’s guess but the rest of the midfield did their bit with a goal each, as did 2 of our 3 forwards. There’s nothing major to change this week then, maybe the odd tweak to be debated. Here’s what we decided on for GW2…

imageAfter the shortest chat the committee have ever undertaken, we have decided to hold our transfer for this week. Our captain is Sergio Aguero and vice captain is Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Nice looking team fellas. That Lamela punt looks great after his gw1 performance. Definitely agree with saving your FT, we’ll know a lot more after two weekends of football and can make some big moves if needed with 2 FT.

Best of luck this weekend, hope the points keep rolling in.

Hey Folks! How do you feel about Gray to Carroll considering the upcoming fixtures?

I think they both have similarly challenging fixtures coming up. My original plan was to do Gray to Carroll after GW1, and I don’t think I’m gonna change that.

Interesting. With Burnley facing Pool, Chelsea and Leicester in the next 4, their fixtures are much tougher in my opinion. West Ham has City next week but otherwise the fixtures look good. I’m gonna have to mull this one over. I’m leaning towards Carroll currently but still not quite decided. Thanks for the 2nd opinion!

That was definitely my original plan so I think I’d go ahead with it if I was in that situation (with a potentially rotating 6.5m striker, that is). (I ended up down a different route with my 3rd one now being a 10m striker!). City game aside I like Carroll for a few weeks and even including City I’d still probably fancy him to get something up against Stones.

This is my current team, worth doing Fischer out for Snodgrass with my free transfer. Have nothing in the bank so would have to be done now as Fischer is set to drop tonight.

    Thanks

I’d probably go ahead with the transfer. Don’t want to get stuck with a depreciating asset and Snodgrass is likely to be central to his team going forward.

    Merhaba from Turkey everyone!

That’s the shortest team article I’ve ever seen in my life. You could have at least put the bench on the picture… :poof:

Who to play, Amat, or McAuley?

Hey folks. Hope all had a decent enough first GW and didn’t get screwed over by the site crashing in the last hour before the deadline (should have known it would be busy; I couldn’t transfer out a few players I wanted to but ended up w/ a decent enough score in the end; lucky). Anyway, Mane is out this GW but doesn’t seem long term. Transfer him out or stick? What else sticks out? Cheers!

    De Gea (Jakupovic)
Valencia / Stones / Friend (Souare / Aina)
    Hazard / Mane / Redmond / Feghouli / Hodjberg
    Aguero / Zlatan / Gray
