We have 16 games in total this week spanning from Saturday until Thursday with (televised) games on 5 of the next 6 days with only Monday left to take a breather (aka a quick run to the supermarket to replen on crisps and beer, and maybe also say a quick hello to the family, maybe…).
We have some strange game times too with Saturday beginning at 3pm and ending up with an 7.45pm’er.
Sunday is more normal with the usual raft of 2pm games followed by a tea-time one.
Tuesday sees just the one, Wednesday is the busiest midweek affair with four before the NLD sees us out on Thursday.
We do then get a slight break as the GW37 deadline is not until Sunday morning.

Any chance of Salah being rested ahead of the Cup Final? Klopp has to target silverware with the league now gone right?
I reckon Klopp needs to keep up the pace in the hope that Wolves do them a favour on Wednesday so he’ll play Salah from the start.
If the game’s put to bed fairly early, then he’ll probably pull him. If anything, I reckon he rests Mané in favour of Díaz who’s been the better attacker of late.
Firmino could also get some mins late on.
I think he is starting to look a bit overworked so there’s a chance he might get rested I think. But wouldn’t think Klopp (or the team) considers the league lost yet so it’s a difficult time the coming games.

Although there is also the possibility in GW38 ahead of the CL one 6 days later. But then there’s the argument that you go in with form rather than being stale and not having played for nearly two weeks.
Yeah I meant for last night’s match but if City win their next two then I think you’ll see a lot of minutes managed before Madrid.

Still lots of football to be played this week but I started tinkering around with my FH team. Would you please rate or rip it? Current team is first and FH team will be second.
FH team:
I think you could drop James in def to a budget option, Holgate maybe, and upgrade in your midfield (*cough* Noble *Cough cough*)
Holgate would give me too many Everton, so I opted for Taylor and I kept Maddy. I will admit it creates a benching headache but I guess at this point in the season it doesn’t matter anymore. I’m no more going to win anything than is Norwich this year.
If it’s a FH then the bench concern is temporary and you can save a fair bit on the bench. But if you go with that team Son could start ahead of Taylor imho.

I’m taking the view of waiting for news closer to deadline (and then most likely forgetting the actual deadline)
Done a first free hat draft just wondered what everyone thought. Would maybe like to get coutinho or Watkins in. Could do it by downgrading zaha to Gordon and then nketiah to Watkins. So could go for Gordon and Watkins who both double or zaha and nketiah.
Another alternative is zaha to coutinho downgrade amartay to tsimikas and keep nketiah. Might be risky going just one playing bench player?
Man, I like that team as it is.
