Glad to see two clean sheets on bench from 4M defenders. Guess i can trust them with first team selections.
Yeah though I’m a bit worried by Amartey. Lots of players missing the first game through Covid might need the full bench

You’re above the average though, which is no bad thing.
I’ve always thought a score in excess of 50 = job done for the GW.
I’d work out a way to get Bruno in doublequick, maybe roll next week and tidy that up in GW3. He is so consistent and you’ll struggle without him.
I’m curious if there’s an easy way to find the highest points scored by a team that did not use a chip.

Interesting weeks ahead. My plan was to go Bruno -> Son so I could afford Lukaku or Kane. Rethink needed now.

The fact that Bruno and Salah both hauled today will make it very interesting. I’m sure there are ingenious ways of getting a third premium in but the drafts we saw where people tried that were spread very thinly, unsurprisingly, with cheaper players. Possibly a change of formation to a 4/3/3 may help – provided a couple of the defenders come in very cheaply.
If Sancho plays next GW and scores a couple and Bruno blanks it may evolve that way*, or The Pog keeps racking up the points etc.
*I’m not saying that is a good idea
Yeah getting three seems a big ask. Key might be to build team value so you can do it later. Depends where Kane is and Chelsea fixtures are not easy for Lukaku but I’m expecting him to hit the ground running
Makeya’s team below isn’t bad at all. Compromise is in the midfield but that allows for flexibility eg 4/3/3 sometimes etc. I thought of the team value angle then pushed it aside as I gave up chasing TV years ago (being a late-transfer merchant).
Another issue I suppose will be a continual who-to-captain ? But that’s almost a luxury issue, not an impediment to getting a player in.
Crunch for me will be before GW3 as I’ll (unless there are injuries before) be making 2FT then, possibly 2FT and a hit. I’m thinking play the long-game with Lukaku, bide my time a bit, but that may change abruptly after Arsenal.
And yes Kane is another part of the puzzle. If he stays at Spurs not so much, perhaps, though I daresay his ownership will be high wherever he is.
I’ve currently got Tsimikas and ESR in my starting XI to enable Salah, Bruno & Vardy. Was planning Bruno-> Son. But now it looks like I might lose TAA, Ings or Antonio to upgrade Vardy to Lukaku or Kane
Son was potentially my path to Lukaku or Kane. We’ll see how he does tomorrow.
My plan is Watkins and Mahrez to Lukaku and anyone 6mil or under after Norwich City. Hope Watkins plays next game.

That’s not a bad three premium player team at all. Without bothering to see how it was done I was assuming TAA would have to go but you’ve side-stepped that very neatly.
A few more 4m defenders started yesterday so hopefully there will always be at least one around to help lubricate things.
Lubrication seems more important than ever.
