FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
We begin on Friday evening this week as top of the table Spurs go to Palace at 8pm.
Just the four games on Saturday with Chelsea welcoming Brentford at 12.30pm, at the front end, and Newcastle visiting Wolves at 5.30pm, at the back end. Sandwiched in-between are just the two 3pm games with Arsenal at home to Sheffield United and Burnley making the trip to Bournemouth.
That leaves Sunday quite bulky, and bunched too, with West Ham vs Everton at 1pm, overlapping with three at 2pm as Luton go to Villa, Brighton entertain Fulham and Liverpool thrash Forest.
Super Sunday is at 3.30pm, strangely, and it’s the Manchester derby, no less.
The games in full…

Fantasy Football 247 League Codes:
Both leagues will be shut to new entrants as of 01/01/24.
62 all out. 270k red arrow. Did JWP and Haaland out to Salah and Darwin. Both duos combined for 18 points so really frustrating that the red is so high.
If I had done nothing at all I’d still be on 62 points but likely wouldn’t have the red arrow (or as big of one) as I’d still have capped Saka over Haaland.
Doing some analysis, WC draft would have got 64 points with Taylor sitting on my bench with 6 points so really fuck all difference. Saka was always going to be my captain this week.
In hindsight the moves for me this week were JWP and Alvarez to Darwin and fodder but hindsight is always great.
I’m going to still hold out hope that when I play my WC I can make up the -270k this weekend. Take this on the chin and move on.
67 points for me, red arrow from 47k to 51k . Not to bad really
Exact same here. 67 pts. Small drop from 133k to 146k.
Don’t be sad, I still love you!
Well, at least Salah got the same as Haaland so I’m good…
Dane, the only difference is that if the C was where V is you would have been 16 points better off
Captain obvious to the rescue!!
No 8 pts better off. 32+8= 40 insted of 16+16=32
2 FT in hand, would it be good moves to do Bowen and Alvarez >> Maddison and Nketiah?
Heard it on the grapevine that Jesus was just a one week thing so I would hold off making any moves till we hear more on that!
Newcastle are also a lot stronger then Sheffield.
A bit stronger
Fair point well raised lol
Not with bmouth at home next for alvarez. Maybe sell thereafter.
Why did Gabriel not play?
Played my WC this week and got rid of Haaland, Foden, Diaby & Pickford.
Too early to do a -4 to get Haaland back?…
Wait till the dust settles, and you’ve had time to lick your wounds!
Also there may be a few mid-week matches that change things.
BTW, I wildcarded and apparently was a total of 19 pts worse off! I should have just done 2FT + a minus 4, but life’s like that isn’t it??? It still smarts though!
But like putting C on Kohli or VC on Root
Which obviously was the case! At least cappo Kohli! Yer right there Bunnies, that I seem to be guilty of self-sabotage!
I had VC Root
Do it, do it now!!
I’m happy with team.
Have 0.7mil in bank and 1FT
Should I replace either Bell or Anderson who look to be out for a bit.
Any defender under 4.6mil worth getting?
Was thinking Zouma or Coufal from WHU with their nice run of games or even double up AVL defence with Konsa? Maybe Guehi from CRY?
To replace Anderson will only be bench cover, but I see Palmer is popular but they have a tough run of matches.
Any suggestions?
Forgot to post team
I would consider planning to replace a defender or keeper. West Ham are bottom 5 for expected goals against I think.
You could get Johnson at 4.5 for their decent run of fixtures.
Does it matter between Zouma or Coufal ?
Coufal better option i think. But since i got areola he has done absolutely nothing. Thinking of a gk transfer as i also have 2 ft.
Gabriel Jesus out for a few weeks
