A strange old GW this one, certainly in terms of timings.
For starters Saturday is odd as we begin at 3pm, and we have 4 of those for Jeff, with Bournemouth hosting Leicester, Wolves going to Chelsea, Man City most likely putting the finishing touches to Ralph the Saint’s coffin and Newcastle welcoming Bournemouth.
Brighton and Spurs see out a fleetingly fast Saturday at 5.30pm.
Sunday is more of a marathon with essentially 7 hours of football on offer if you can stomach it. There are 2 at 2pm with Palace v Leeds and West Ham v Fulham. The Super Sunday slot is filled by Arsenal & Liverpool at 4.30pm. The strange timings see us continue beyond our usual threshold though with Everton hosting Man United at 7pm. A local (ish) derby, that is usually fairly tasty, at 7pm on a Sunday night… you can only assume no BT exec’s have ever served on the front line as police officers.
Forest and Villa put us to sleep see us out on Monday night.
