Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Not quite sure who is picking these Friday night games but it looks like another uninspiring one, with all due respect to each team, as Brentford host Brighton to ‘get us going’ this week.

In fact our TV gurus are at it again immediately on Saturday with Leicester and Palace at 12.30pm. Jeff himself will be bored stiff at 3pm with Fulham & Bournemouth and Wolves v Forest. The whole lot feels like some sick audition for Championship places next season.

Whether Spurs v Everton in the late TV game will be much better remains to be seen. Maybe the TV guy played H&L this week and had 1-1 down as his treble.

Sunday carries the most games not on gamstop UK this week with 5, although rather frustratingly 4 of them are at 2pm! You may be getting the impression that we are not overly inspired by the fixture planners work this week!

It feels like the whole weekend is geared towards Sunday at 4.30pm as Pep and Klopp go H2H. Haaland got rested completely and Salah was afforded the exact amount of minutes he needed to finally sharpen his senses. That all said, this one will probably be an awfully drab 1-1 and the rest will be classics!

    • I think he also blanked versus umm Bournemouth?

      • No that was Salah. Haaland got an assist vs Bournemouth. 5 pts.

        • If u r talking about goal scored, then yes just his second game he didnt score all season

    Do I get Salah for Son or Trossard for Maddison?

    • Tough one. If u r convinced Salah form is back, why not both & a -4?

      I got similar dilemma Maddison & Foden out for Salah & a 5.3 like Billing for -4. But then I cant get back Foden who has served me well.
      I still not sure if Salah is worth12.7 since I have Kane & Haaland.. maybe getting Firmino soon is an option at much cheaper price.

      • That’s true Reg. I don’t want hits before a planned WC. Than again, will need Son back for GW13, he has a good record against Newcastle. Maybe just Trossard for now and then regroup unknw

    Do I do
    Diaz/Kdb/James out and Salah/Trossard & 6.8m defender in
    or
    Diaz/Cancelo/James out and Salah/Guehi/Toti in

    Is it worth getting Salah, or wait till i WC in gw13?

    • How many FTs?

      KDB + Diaz -> Salah + Trossard seems good.

    • The first one HF. That’s what I reckon anyway. I’ve got KDB, Haaland & Foden, so I’m gonna drop KDB for Salah, then after GW 12, get in Cancelo (probs have to sell TAA to do it! – e’en tho’ he’ll give me an extra number now in GW12!).
      We’ll see how things go. Hope you’re okay mate. 😉

        Yeah was thinking the 1st one.
        Have my wc so will get KDB in (somehow!!) or maybe Foden, although he is a pep-rotation risk. City have a nice run of fixtures till the world cup, so maxing on them is a must i think. Will need to try and squeeze an Arsenal midfielder in as well as wont be able to get Jesus. May have to forego Cancelo do to all this – either that or rob a bank to get the money!!

        • Foden has started each game this season, subbed 3 times before 60 mins but not before hauling. He is more nailed than KDB I would say

        • Then I may get Foden, because if I want Salah, Haaland, Kane, Cancelo and Jesus, I wont be able to get Kdb..lol

        • Yeah good luck matie. I’ve got the cash but will have to take a couple of game weeks’ worth of – 4’s to get there, but it’ll be okay. See you round 😉

        • Would Mount be better than Trossard?

          If I go Trossard, I have 6.8m, if I go Mount I have 6m.

          Either way, I could do James to either Chilwell, Cucu, Dier …. any preferred for a one gameweek punt?

        Also gone James to Perisic with my second FT

        Will look at moving Son back to KBD in a week or two
