FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 11
Sky are having a ‘mare…
We begin with an early deadline this week as Villa go to Saints in what can only be described as an odd choice by Sky to bother pulling it forward to Friday night and then actually screening it.
Saturday kicks off with the game that should be on at 4.30pm on Sunday (the Manchester v Salford derby).
We often mention Jeff Stelling on here when it comes to the Saturday 3pm games and with good reason because he is a legendary presenter and his show has been one of the best inventions since the PL (football) began. He has also been poorly treated by Sky since this whole pandemic thing began. Initially shorn of any games to actually present they then decided to strip him of all his ‘mates’. The very people who made the show what it was. And he’s finally had enough…
Unbelievable, Jeff. @JeffStelling to leave Sky Sports at end of the season after 30 years. Effortless and deeply knowledgeable presenter. Great chemistry on Soccer Saturday with guests, reporters, pundits, players and managers. Good luck to whoever follows Stelling. pic.twitter.com/wEjfcjX6Bw

Hopefully there is a grand plan for him and his team and he will pop up presenting the old format on a new platform next season.
This week he has been left with Brentford v Norwich, Chelsea v Burnley and Palace v Wolves.
BT were clearly at the same drinks party as Sky when they all selected this week’s games as they are showing Brighton v Newcastle in the 5.30pm game. *shakes head*
Sunday 2pm seems to be the new Saturday 3pm as we have 3 games at once with Arsenal hosting Watford (on Sky… no words left), Spurs going to Everton (just slightly more interest in that one all things considered, Sky people?!), and Leeds v Leicester (even that looks entertaining on paper, Arsenal / Watford certainly doesn’t!!!).
To be fair to them all West Ham v Liverpool at prime-time 4.30pm does sound tasty, albeit it is probably Saturday night tasty, with pizza, with said Manc derby in this slot.
And that’s where it ends for a couple of weeks as we now go into yet another international break. Stay tuned on FF247 though as we shall be trialing a few new articles during the break.
The games in full…

Ecstatic with my game week. 78 points moved me from 124k to 46k. Going to just sit on my team till the internationals are finished. At the moment I might make one transfer and keep the other. Currently sitting on 2Ft and feeling good!
Fair play Makeya that does look good. And you didn’t get burned by Antonio either so that’s a bonus.
Take a break and come back once the internationals are over and see where you are.
That’s a nice team
Cheers GP & Smash!
Bought alonso in gw 6.. he took 1point then.
Gw7 0pts
Gw8 0pts
sold Alonso, bought azpi…
Azpi points gw 9 0pts
Gw 10 0pts
Gw 11 0pts
Gw 12 bought James…
To be continued….
Well at least you have bought the right one now
Sorry mate! James and Chilwell are prime assets. I sold Alonso …long, long time ago. Chilwell made it up to me. I hope James does the same for you too.
Livramento first on the bench have been a blessing….
If u got livramento first sub till now, then no issue at all. I would say excellent run.
t’s a bit below the radar after yesterday, but is a gamble on Conte worth it? I’ve three options.
2 fts, 1.7 itb
SON. Havertz to Son, Coady to Manquillo, Johnson. 0.1/0.2 space on price changes.
KANE. Vardy to Kane, Havertz to Foden or Mount.
BOTH -4. Vardy to Kane, Havertz to Son, Antonio to Hwang or Adam Armstrong. 0.0 space for price changes, so probably have to go early in the IB.
I think both is overkill. I’d prob go Kane as I like Foden. I don’t see Johnson or Manquilo playing much
Thanks, Smash. I also appreciate your comments on Johnson and Manquillo, as I worry about bench depth.
The kane option seems best
Should I hold off on WC? Could do Vardy to Ronnie or Luka before next gw…or Rudiger to James? 1.9 mib.
Cheers guys!
1 FT
Looks like an easy decision to save WC for me. I’m waiting before making any decisions on transfers.
All great info here…thanks guys!
Looks close to a WC team as it is. Probably the striker move for me though James is a great asset
Vardy got Nor, sou, avl and new after che… Kinda risky to sell him now…
I’m not sure they are that easy for Leicester personally
They don’t have NOR…have WAT.
Even better…
And Jamie is 35 in early January. The past two years, his performance has dipped in the second half of the season. I do wonder if he’s hitting the wall a bit earlier.
If so, I also expect to see Daka and Iheanacho eating into his playing minutes as well.
