Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

With the top two sitting this one out we have just the 9 midweek fixtures and it is spread of 3 days, beginning on Tuesday with Brighton and Forest at 7.30pm, followed by Palace and Wolves at 8.15.

Yes, it’s one of those Amazon midweek’s with the games staggered so that we can watch the 1st half of one and the latter bit of another. It’s a good idea, in theory, except it simply reminds of Covid days!

Wednesday does the heavy lifting with 5 games; Bournemouth v Saints, Chelsea making the short trip to Brentford for the Andy Jacobs derby, Liverpool welcome Moyes back to Merseyside, Everton go to ‘1980’s Newcastle’, and Man Utd and Spurs see us out in the later game at 8.15.

Two left on Thursday then, again split with Fulham and Villa in the 7.30pm slot and Leicester and Leeds in the later one.

The games in full…

  1. Hey guys, do we reckon Tomiyasu will keep his place at Arsenal?

    • Have a look at their line up tonight. If Tierey plays LB then it could mean Tomiyasu is preferred for league matches just now. Zinchenko not yet back training.

May be good until the WC but think I’d find the extra 0.3mln for White.

  2. How does this look for a WC. Gives me 0.2m itb. Solanke prob benched for his trickier fixtures. Quite like it but too much of a benching headache?

    • How does it compare to this WC?

      • Probably still the first one for me. With so many games to fit in still, including European ones, I think a fatter squad may still be the way to go for now.

  3. On my WC. 3.1 In the bank. I’ve has Martinelli and Sliba from early on. Saka and Mount could become Salah and a 5.8.

    • I’d be tempted to make that switch. The 5.8 can rotate and Salah can still be explosive.

  4. Shaw or White?

  5. Hi everyone,
    Another WC team.
    Got 0.5 ITB.
    Anything I should change?
    Thanks,
    CC

    • maybe look at kepa over raya. i’d start trippier too

      • I had considered Kepa – think Raya has better fixtures.
Yeah maybe Trippier for Dalot …
        Thanks

  6. I am still on the fence re Salah and would appreciate your thoughts. Is he really worth bringing in? Can Saka do just as well? 1FT 3.5 mib
Can do -4 Kane to Mitro and Trossard to Salah…
    Or just Trossard to Saka?

    • Bees – I have Salah in my wc, and giving him the weekend game at forest. if he blanks, he is out.
He done diddly squat at Anfield last night (in my opinion), and if he cant score at Forest, then not worth the money.

      • Thanks Hammer. Even if he scores vs Forest he may still not be worth his price over the long run. Will see how he does today.

    • I dont think he is. U will anyways C Haaland. Salah too wide with Nunez there & he hasnt really hit top form since long time. But he is capable of exploding as he did in the CL vs Rangers. But apart from that Rangers & Bournemouth game, LIV & Salah have never really exploded this year.
