Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13

Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 13
It is another condensed GW this time around, beginning on Saturday at 12.30pm and finishing up on Sunday at around 6pm. We do however have a nice even split between the two days with five games on each.

The early game on Saturday sees Newcastle going down to Arsenal and this is followed by three at 3pm with Palace welcoming Villa, Liverpool welcome their feeder club Southampton and Wolves go to Norwich. Brighton and Leeds see us out on Saturday at 5.30pm.

Sunday begins at 2pm with four games running concurrently as Brentford welcome Everton, Spurs go to Burnley, Leicester host Watford and West Ham have the joys of a trip to Man City. We end at 4.30pm with a baptism of fire for Ralf as he takes his new troops to see Tuchel and co.

It is probably worth pointing out at this stage that GW14 is a midweek affair and the deadline for that one is 6pm on Tuesday.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. 48 from 6 (before 4ph)…quite happy yes

    • 34 with James, Mbeumo, Toney, Bilva and Kane (C) to play.

      • Kane capping after they got destroyed by a nobody in one of the weakest groups in the euro league? Brave. I have him in my team and I already feel brave. Lol

      • Have Kane too…lets hope for some goals! drinks

  2. I’ve always had a soft spot for Newcastle but how funny would it be if they relegated in the season some rich Arabs took it over?

  3. 64 pts with Vardy, Antonio and James to play… BUT I had to play triple captain (Salah) … I’m fighting to win the month and I cant lose it, I’m so close to win some good money vs my mini league

  4. TAA worth it for sure.
Any way to wait for an extra gameweek to do Manquillo, McArthur and auba to TAA, Amartey and Beneteke?

    • Sorry, this was for post 18 by “Veer”.

    • Thanks MHD that’s a good suggestion.
I guess you mean a 4.4 midfielder for McArthur, as Amartey is a defender. However not sure it’s worth getting Benteke as I’ll usually be playing 4-4-2 or even 5-3-2.
I also need to save 0.2-0.3 for Kane >> Ronaldo

      • Sorry Veer, not Amartey, I meant that cheep Everton midfielder, forgot the name.

  5. Jota not getting bonus is reflected today… Scores two goals, only gets 1 bonus (although it was very close 44BPS to Robertson’s and Van Dijk’s 45BPS… But still, usually if a mid scores two goals they get 3 bonus….

    • It’s the deepest conspiracy, Zed, surely you’ve seen the pattern emerging, season after season with all those bonus points given to players you don’t own. Scratch the surface and you’ll see.

Of course the conspiracy goes back much further. Before football itself. I’d say it kicked off after the battle of Sybota. Or Syjota, as maybe it was once called.

    • He basically gets loads of chances but misses lots of chances

  6. Would you be taking a hit to bring Jota in before the bandwagon starts? If it hasn’t already

    • I did it this week and paid off brilliantly.

    • I wouldn’t take a hit to bring him in, though my context will of course be different to others’. Am slightly tempted this week to roll the transfer and have 2FT going into next weekend.
