If rotation didn’t bite you too hard in midweek then it may do this weekend, but as we mentioned in the GW14 edition of this particular article, which nobody ever bothers to read anyway (if you do, say ‘xG is King’ in the comments), this is just a taster of what is to come in the weeks ahead. And perhaps a little reminder of why having a squad as fat as your turkey may be wise over Christmas.
We have 5 games on Saturday and West Ham welcome Chelsea in the early one at 12.30pm. At 3pm Burnley go to Newcastle to see how the other half live (same as them as it turns out), Saints and Brighton have a bit of a derby, and Wolves try to keep the score down against Liverpool. Watford then try (lol) to outscore Man City at the Vicarage in the late one at 5.30pm.
2pm on Sunday is fast becoming the new 3pm on Saturday as we have 3 games again (all seemingly untelevised) as Leeds host Brentford, Palace go to Man Utd and Spurs get angry against Norwich. No idea why they get angry, it just feels like they may have to.
The late one on Sunday sees Stevie G, of Liverpool fame, possibly giving Brendan, of nearly Liverpool fame, some slippery nightmares.
Everton and Arsenal bore us to death see us out on Monday at 8pm.

I got in cr7, straight away c him and of course he has his most quiet game in a manu shirt.
This was the week to captain a differential but nothing paying off this season.
It was a horrible performance by manu from an attacking point of view.
Commiserations Reg. But of course you’ve got the beauty of Kerala to look back on, even if your captain fails. Here in sunny (oops, there is none!) old Europe I’ve chosen Salah, as it’s no great loss either way, and he’s likely to score something, which means you’re pegging your success indirectly to the rest of the competition. Like having an each-way bet on a 2-1 shot – no real gain, but no real pain! Leave it to the 10 other hapless jerks in our teams to make the difference! 😉

Feels like there’s quite a bit of funds on the bench, you could downgrade Dennis or Maupay and upgrade Bowen to Mount. (Or the other way ‘round and upgrade a striker- Reg could also be a budget option to enhance this effect)
Not so keen on Mount OD. Really like the look of Bowen with outstanding match ups.
Kane still mad that he didn’t go to City? Is that why his form has dropped down to the mariana trench?
I dont know whether to ditch him or not? When is their DGW? Anyone know.

That DGW is next year for sure.
I doubt he’d dump his performance like that as it impacts his general career regardless, maybe he jus isn’t better as it is. Or he’s not a good fit as a an overly attacking/ poaching striker with the current team or he doesn’t Conte’s style of play.
Or, all of the above, or something entirely different – just sell him and all of your worries will be over

or the midfield of spurs is too weak, he simply isnt getting supply.
or he simply has no interest bcoz his transfer to city fell thru. think its better for spurs to sell him in jan regardless if they find replacement or not. maybe conte should use him as a midfielder and let moura and son be the front 2.. this is anyways what is happening kind of

He worked hard. Had a couple of weak chances, but did not look anything special Smash. Won’t be putting him in on my WC. We will see how it goes with the new boss.
he was quiet. Manu tactic seemed to not concede first. he didnt get any service or a single chance.
palace were good defensively too but manu tactics were cautious.
