If rotation didn’t bite you too hard in midweek then it may do this weekend, but as we mentioned in the GW14 edition of this particular article, which nobody ever bothers to read anyway (if you do, say ‘xG is King’ in the comments), this is just a taster of what is to come in the weeks ahead. And perhaps a little reminder of why having a squad as fat as your turkey may be wise over Christmas.
We have 5 games on Saturday and West Ham welcome Chelsea in the early one at 12.30pm. At 3pm Burnley go to Newcastle to see how the other half live (same as them as it turns out), Saints and Brighton have a bit of a derby, and Wolves try to keep the score down against Liverpool. Watford then try (lol) to outscore Man City at the Vicarage in the late one at 5.30pm.
2pm on Sunday is fast becoming the new 3pm on Saturday as we have 3 games again (all seemingly untelevised) as Leeds host Brentford, Palace go to Man Utd and Spurs get angry against Norwich. No idea why they get angry, it just feels like they may have to.
The late one on Sunday sees Stevie G, of Liverpool fame, possibly giving Brendan, of nearly Liverpool fame, some slippery nightmares.
Everton and Arsenal bore us to death see us out on Monday at 8pm.

there has to be a name for that feeling you have: wake up in the morning and check the EPL scores, see that Kane blanked again (sigh) but then feel relief that spurs and Reguilon kept a clean sheet….. what’s that feeling when you then notice Reguilon didn’t play?

Sounds good, I’d lose Raphinha for a few weeks and get Foden if you can afford him! As ever don’t make any moves till after the Champions League games are done and dusted!

Amazing. I remember someone in a mini-league I was in led the league until the end of October doing nothing. But in the end mounting injuries did for them and the sands of time look like they’re running out for this one too.

The attacking returns won’t continue but he’s a cheap entry into the Spurs defence till Jan at least

Not allowed to. Took Reguilon quite a few games to remember how to attack again after he got Josed. Doherty is still lost.

I dont see any reason why should bring in antonio vardy or lukaku now. Might as well keep Kane then. None of them are scoring any goals at the moment…

Very true. Just curious, do you think Antonio’s points are behind him? I certainly like the look of WHU’s fixtures over Villa’s for the next bit.
Who knows… He hasn’t scored in six games, but mci, liv, wol and che are among those six, so maybe that dosent mean anything really. Could be a good pick…
I’m expecting him to start scoring now his fixtures have eased up. Unlike some forwards he looked ok during his dry spell
