If rotation didn’t bite you too hard in midweek then it may do this weekend, but as we mentioned in the GW14 edition of this particular article, which nobody ever bothers to read anyway (if you do, say ‘xG is King’ in the comments), this is just a taster of what is to come in the weeks ahead. And perhaps a little reminder of why having a squad as fat as your turkey may be wise over Christmas.
We have 5 games on Saturday and West Ham welcome Chelsea in the early one at 12.30pm. At 3pm Burnley go to Newcastle to see how the other half live (same as them as it turns out), Saints and Brighton have a bit of a derby, and Wolves try to keep the score down against Liverpool. Watford then try (lol) to outscore Man City at the Vicarage in the late one at 5.30pm.
2pm on Sunday is fast becoming the new 3pm on Saturday as we have 3 games again (all seemingly untelevised) as Leeds host Brentford, Palace go to Man Utd and Spurs get angry against Norwich. No idea why they get angry, it just feels like they may have to.
The late one on Sunday sees Stevie G, of Liverpool fame, possibly giving Brendan, of nearly Liverpool fame, some slippery nightmares.
Everton and Arsenal bore us to death see us out on Monday at 8pm.

Will Dennis be away for all the games gw17, 18,19 for Afcon?
He wasn’t the favourite player for the Nigerian team but now after his recent success in the EPL there are calls to bring him bag. We’ll see near the time
It doesn’t start until the 9th Jan. Also it’s not confirmed whether Dennis will be picked for the squad. So I wouldn’t worry yet.

Is Toney over Maupay an option? Then that.
If you have Livra at a cheaper price point I think I’d still keep him around regardless.
Can’t afford Toney…don’t love him and SOU match ups not so good. Would have loved Johnson who is now injured.

Bees, you need to keep a space and dosh for one premium striker like Ronaldo or Kane as both have excellent fixtures for a long period ahead. The big hitters from the back time is over and the 4-4-2 will be out of fashion soon.
That is why I have already reduced the back line. I do think a good set of mids will do better than Kane or Ronnie upfront. How secure is Bilva?
Bilva is as secure as everyone else on the Pep’s roulette.
That said, he has started every game apart GW 1.
He’s their best player
