Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 15

If rotation didn’t bite you too hard in midweek then it may do this weekend, but as we mentioned in the GW14 edition of this particular article, which nobody ever bothers to read anyway (if you do, say ‘xG is King’ in the comments), this is just a taster of what is to come in the weeks ahead. And perhaps a little reminder of why having a squad as fat as your turkey may be wise over Christmas.

We have 5 games on Saturday and West Ham welcome Chelsea in the early one at 12.30pm. At 3pm Burnley go to Newcastle to see how the other half live (same as them as it turns out), Saints and Brighton have a bit of a derby, and Wolves try to keep the score down against Liverpool. Watford then try (lol) to outscore Man City at the Vicarage in the late one at 5.30pm.

2pm on Sunday is fast becoming the new 3pm on Saturday as we have 3 games again (all seemingly untelevised) as Leeds host Brentford, Palace go to Man Utd and Spurs get angry against Norwich. No idea why they get angry, it just feels like they may have to.

The late one on Sunday sees Stevie G, of Liverpool fame, possibly giving Brendan, of nearly Liverpool fame, some slippery nightmares.

Everton and Arsenal bore us to death see us out on Monday at 8pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

For Wilson and Bernardo Silva worked out this game week

Wait for the mid-week CL vs. take the risk of catching early price rise ! crazy

4ph to bring in Reguilon for Rudi, Bernardo for Gallagher and Dennis for Toney (need the money to enable to moves).
Leaves .6mib to bring in Bowen for ESR or Ronnie if needed.
    Or use WC?

Have to use your wc soon anyway…

If you’re going to play your wildcard it’s best to go early to catch price rises. I wouldn’t dither about it, just go for it. For all that though I don’t think your side seems in particularly bad shape.

Hi Kralin…what do you think of this possible WC? Crazy to have both King and Dennis, but they could at least get me something. Also won’t play them very often. Could get Hwang in for Dennis when he goes to Afcon.
Thought Bachman would be ok till Foster returns. Will wait to see if Ronnie is fit. Have Kane in place now.
        Much appreciate your thoughts!

        • Kralin says:

Not too keen on the King & Dennis thing. One is enough I’d say.

Presumably you’re going with four at the back, which means you can thin out your midfield, replacing Bowen or Smith-Rowe with a cheapo.

I’d pick a 3.9 GK as keeper 2, save some money that way.

        • bees393 says:

Thanks Kralin…will take a look at this formation.

          How much left ITB

        • Smash says:

I really like this. I don’t even mind the double Watford attack as you don’t have to play them

        • Kralin says:

Given Watford’s fixtures then I think most managers would be inclined to play both. Double attack for Watford may be stretching things a bit. Open for debate of course. Will be getting one of the blighters in myself.

        • Smash says:

Dennis is basically the Brownhill here though that’s why I say it. I guess you could have Broja instead he seems to score most times he starts

        • Kralin says:

Yes…the forwards are very tricky this year. I’m baulking slightly at having a Watford and Brentford forward. Maybe time soon to bid adieu to Toney.

Will be keeping a close eye on Man United as the likes of Sancho could be handy – and will offset these cheapos.

Watkins also on the radar after Liverpool. Antonio after the away games.

I think that looks like a solid side, so yeah looks ok to me.

Gallagher to Bowen …got exact money before price drops/rises….whaddya reckon?

    GoalMachine says:

Gallagher+Toney ——— Bilva+King/Dennis?……unfortunately needs to do it now, otherwise will be tight.
Or, I can also sell Antonio (instead of Toney), but the fixture takes a turn now. In that case, I can wait.

I am sort of faded up with both Toney and Antonio. Till Raya is back, I do not see any improvement for Toney. WHU fixture turns, which is good for Antonio, but then he is also not returning as such.

    • 36.1

I would wait for the tomorrow’s explosion from CR7 and Sancho and take it from there wink

    • 36.2
      RedKev says:

I’d keep Antonio if you can given his fixtures and WH form ….tbf I know we expect more but he has just got an assist and had a goal ruled out the other game….reckon he’ll improve over next few games myself
I’d do the Toney/Gallagher move now if need to as long as you’ve got a decent bench to support any mishaps….I’ve just ditched Gallagher myself to avoid the price drop

      Smash says:

I’m fine with Antonio. Goals will come now fixtures turn. West Ham are flying and yes still getting in good positions. Toney is different as Brentford seen to be struggling. He plays Watford. Next week who always concede but after that it might be time. They just struggle to create any chances for Toney who drops incredibly deep to get the ball. He’s actually played really well which is the frustrating thing from an FPL perspective
