FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
And then there were 9…
It’s not the first time and it almost certainly won’t be the last but at least we had some advance notice and so we could all react accordingly, rather than simply being left to check if you got that bench order correct. We wish those Spurs boys the best and a full recovery.
As for who is left we begin on Friday with the solitary game which is Watford making the short trip to Brentford.
Man City and Wolves get us going on Saturday in the early game before Arsenal welcome Saints, Chelsea and Leeds revive the 70’s and Stevie G slips into Anfield, all at 3pm. Norwich and Man United see Saturday out in the late one.
West Ham go to Burnley and Leicester welcome Newcastle at 2pm on Sunday before Palace and Everton bring us to an abrupt (and probably fairly fantasy free halt) at 4.30pm.
It is worth noting at this point that GW17 is in midweek following this one and the DEADLINE IS ON TUESDAY AT 6PM.
The games in full…

Vardy benched again, time to move him on?
Ronnie or Watkins? Got Dennis and Antonio already.

Maybe thinking of rolling the FT and having 2 for the weekend just in case there are any more cancelled fixtures.
What do you think?
It’s always wise to save a FT if possible with midweek fixtures. With this congested schedule players will be dropping like flies soon.
Or maybe improve the bench. This time of year it’s not a bad idea to have one or maybe even two ”real” players who could take a few points on the bench. They are likely to come in from the bench quite often….
AB, like Ivan says, if I roll the FT, with players potentially dropping like flies, it will give me a good opportunity to use the cash to upgrade my bench players before I wildcard.
A wise utilisation of ones trades Hammerfan! Like WHU, saving it up for a rainy day! Me too! Hope their (and our!) efforts come to fruition soon! Can’t wait to see them bang out a big win over the next few weeks.
Agreed AJW.
Just think with this wretched virus around, and the midweek fixtures as Ivan says, best to roll the FT as who knows who will drop. If fixtures get cancelled, might be worth having that extra FT so change players etc. And as AB also mentions, I will need to change my benchers to come in for those potential non-players. The ones I currently have are not much use. I need them to carry me through to when I do my WC
What is wrong with Antonio?
After such a great start of the seson, all he has is an assist in the last 7 games.
He is cursed, obviously
Maybe still coming back into full fitness (as indicated by Moyesie a couple of weeks ago), as he looked quite exhausted after the 70th minute today – I guess it’s normal, as we armchair experts complain about players’ efforts onfield, but couldn’t be bothered to get off our bums to go make a coffee at half-time!
I’m keeping him for the moment, personally, as when he’s on form, he’s so dangerous….and yet…. 😉
Oh yes, with those upcoming fixtures he is definitely staying
Fixtures are too good to get rid
Ooh! We’d best find a wee leprechaun quick or the poor lassie may be forever doomed to the gypsylady’s curse, quickly now I tells ya!
I sold him for watkins 2 weeks ago but so far nothing came out of it.
When west ham score, they are either corners or counter attacks finished by one of the midfielders.
