It’s not the first time and it almost certainly won’t be the last but at least we had some advance notice and so we could all react accordingly, rather than simply being left to check if you got that bench order correct. We wish those Spurs boys the best and a full recovery.
As for who is left we begin on Friday with the solitary game which is Watford making the short trip to Brentford.
Man City and Wolves get us going on Saturday in the early game before Arsenal welcome Saints, Chelsea and Leeds revive the 70’s and Stevie G slips into Anfield, all at 3pm. Norwich and Man United see Saturday out in the late one.
West Ham go to Burnley and Leicester welcome Newcastle at 2pm on Sunday before Palace and Everton bring us to an abrupt (and probably fairly fantasy free halt) at 4.30pm.
It is worth noting at this point that GW17 is in midweek following this one and the DEADLINE IS ON TUESDAY AT 6PM.

I watched the game. The hammers didn’t do much as Burnley’s physicality proved to be a bit too much for them today. However, they still had some good chances. Bowen almost made me proud at the end but Pope saved his shot. I am a bit worried about Antonio, as he looked knackered at times. Anyway, I am keeping them both for the foreseeable, as I think they will do well in the long run.
See there is apparently an outbreak of covid in the Man Utd camp. Saying the game against Brentford is under threat.

There are positive cases in at least 5 PL teams (that we are aware of), so there is a lot uncertainty going on atm. Just don’t do early transfers. That’s pretty much it.

Is it still worth doubling up on defenders? I have Audiger and James but Chelsea seems to have dropped their defensive form a little. Already have TAA and Cancelo. Is it worth swapping out James for Dias/VVD? Another option is a Dalot given United’s good fixtures.
In normal circumstances yes – if the fixtures look good – but I’d have a squad as spread out between different clubs as possible at the moment. See Spurs, possibly Man U, etc.

I think it’s a game of roulette, any of those three teams can hit a frustrating patch of games in which they concede in several games in a row. I would make decisions based on players rather than teams in this case
Everton looks fine and so does Wolves after that prob time to move one on. Issues at Chelsea are the centre midfielders all being injured. Kovacic, Kante. Jorginho is playing injured and Saul/RLC are not good enough
At this stage, i would switch from double chelsea. A double city or getting in robbo for double Liverpool if u have the cash seems better.
If u want cheap, dalot or an aston villa defender seems good.
Conor Gallagher could go into that Chelsea team just now.
