FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
And then there were 9…
It’s not the first time and it almost certainly won’t be the last but at least we had some advance notice and so we could all react accordingly, rather than simply being left to check if you got that bench order correct. We wish those Spurs boys the best and a full recovery.
As for who is left we begin on Friday with the solitary game which is Watford making the short trip to Brentford.
Man City and Wolves get us going on Saturday in the early game before Arsenal welcome Saints, Chelsea and Leeds revive the 70’s and Stevie G slips into Anfield, all at 3pm. Norwich and Man United see Saturday out in the late one.
West Ham go to Burnley and Leicester welcome Newcastle at 2pm on Sunday before Palace and Everton bring us to an abrupt (and probably fairly fantasy free halt) at 4.30pm.
It is worth noting at this point that GW17 is in midweek following this one and the DEADLINE IS ON TUESDAY AT 6PM.
The games in full…

If only WAT enthusiasm matched their passing ability…
Come on Denis. One more please.
Hahaha. What misery.
Looks like Dennis still on 3 BP. Something to be grateful for.
Yeah. Don’t mind that. Hope Jimenez stays quiet now.
Yes, he is on 3 and Mbeumo on 2.
Status quo around
For sure.
As a King owner that was really frustrating to see Ranieri suddenly swap the positions of Dennis and King. I got King because he was playing down the middle
So did I Smash. Oh well. GW17 looms soon and all this will be forgotten if King scores then.
I was too busy earlier and missed the press conferences so missed the great news about Jota.
All brewing up to be another good one.
I really hope Jota don’t play
Jota hasn’t trained all week, Origi is set to start
I mean I was the one who posted that . It was whether he trained yesterday
What was the great news Z Kralin? Easy to miss things on my side of the pond.
When I wrote ‘great news’ I meant it in the sense that it wasn’t great at all.
Last night when I tucked my side up in bed he wasn’t marked as injured.
Earlier this evening when I popped my head around the door, he was marked as 50%.
That’s a heck of a lie in K
Super annoying…I have him too.
Haha.
More like complete neglect.
Bit confused at what to do this week?
With Jota flagged and Firmino back should I swap to Bernardo before his price rise tonight?
I was also thinking about Livra to Dalot but would need funds. That could be made from Antonio to Watkins who plays Norwich but Ings is close to returning so could be pushed wide.
Any ideas or recommendations?
Far too early for all that Kev surely. You could bring Bernardo in tonight and he gets injured tomorrow!
I would relax and see what the weekend brings.
Jota will probably be back in midweek. They’ve clearly kept Origi fresh for today by deliberately giving him an extra days rest. That allows Jota to then have an extra few days himself by skipping today. It’s great squad management and planning.
That said I’m getting Bilva myself this week, albeit for Raphinha, can you do that instead? But as GP says I won’t be doing anything until we have cleared Sunday night at the earliest.
Chill, dude. I’m more worried (for want of a better word) about Smith Rowe becuase he’s very handy.
There’s going to be loads of rotation plus I’ll be amazed if the Spurs game this weekend is the only postponement over Xmas.
Who did we all end up captaining then?
Went with Ronnie myself. Only really because I know I’ll be watching that one. Not the best of reasons I appreciate but it is supposed to be fun after all.
Salah.
Being pragmatic and having jolly japes at the same time.
Come on Ronaldoooooo
Smith. It didn’t work out very well!!
Same with Stokes!
My hit for Bachman so nearly paid off but I’m not unhappy that I lost two points to have two playing keepers in the forthcoming weeks. This is where I’m at now.
