It’s a quick turnaround this week with a midweek fixture fest to get us right in the mood for Christmas and the chaos ahead. This one spans three days from Tuesday to Thursday and then we begin again on Saturday.
Tuesday itself sees three games, all spread out slightly. with Brentford welcoming Ralf and his new spangled clean sheets at 7.30pm, Villa going to Norwich at 7-47pm before Pep and Bielsa have their usual cuddle at 8.
Wednesday looks relatively uninteresting, if we are being brutally honest, with Brighton v Wolves, Burnley v Watford and Palace v Saints all at 7.30pm. Just say you are washing your hair or something instead. Arsenal v West Ham should be a bit more lively at 8pm. It’d have to try hard not to be.
Thursday looks tastier with Leicester (maybe) hosting Spurs at 7.30pm, Everton going to
Chelsea at 7.45pm and Liverpool reminding Eddie that he isn’t allowed any trees this Christmas at 8pm.

Pep had an inconclusive covid test today and press conference was cancelled.
Might get some training pics later I guess
They could have easily done a virtual press conference. 80% of all business is run this way nowadays.
Thinking of Bowen to ESR? Would give me 9 players – 2 FT 0 mib
Bernado to Foden if necessary. Or Ronnie to Watkins who is ok but not great…have my doubts about the necessity of the move.
Am I ok with 9 players…would like to hold the xtra FT if possible.

Here is me. Current thoughts with 2.3 in the bank and one free transfer
A) Save. Yes I seem to have eleven
B) Raphinha in for Brownhill
C) White in for Livramento
D) ESR for Brownhill
E) Anything else
I would go for White and getting rid of Livramento, his returns has been rubbish 5 points in the last 6 gws
Yes, inclined to agree. More so because of Livra blank week and less promising fixtures ahead.
I would be tempted to bank, you may well need 2FT next week.
I’d consider saving it Smash. However, there’s got to be a chance that Bernardo doesn’t start.
Esr in for me. Dont think there is any room for bench fodder any more.
Who is the best keeper to get who plays this week? I’m undecided between Ederson and Ramsdale. Other moves I’m doing to field a starting 11 are Ronaldo >> Watkins and Gallagher >> Mount/Foden
I’m stuck with a similar decision. I have Watkins so I did Ronaldo>Laca and now I am debating if I take a -4 for a playing keeper and run the risk Bilva doesn’t play or -8 with the playing keeper and Gallagher>Foden/Mount. With the latter I would bench Brownhill and he would come on for Bilva should he not play. -8 just feels like a bigger roll of the dice with all the covid stuff going around again.
With that said, Ramsdale would be my first choice so as not to break the bank.
What to do here? 1FT, 2.2ITB.
1) Gray to Bernado
2) Livramento to Tierny or Cash
3) CR7 and Gray to Lacazette and Foden (-4)
4) Something else?
Or
5) CR7 and Gray to KDB and Laca (have exact cash).
