Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 17
It’s a quick turnaround this week with a midweek fixture fest to get us right in the mood for Christmas and the chaos ahead. This one spans three days from Tuesday to Thursday and then we begin again on Saturday.
Tuesday itself sees three games, all spread out slightly. with Brentford welcoming Ralf and his new spangled clean sheets at 7.30pm, Villa going to Norwich at 7-47pm before Pep and Bielsa have their usual cuddle at 8.
Wednesday looks relatively uninteresting, if we are being brutally honest, with Brighton v Wolves, Burnley v Watford and Palace v Saints all at 7.30pm. Just say you are washing your hair or something instead. Arsenal v West Ham should be a bit more lively at 8pm. It’d have to try hard not to be.
Thursday looks tastier with Leicester (maybe) hosting Spurs at 7.30pm, Everton going to
Chelsea at 7.45pm and Liverpool reminding Eddie that he isn’t allowed any trees this Christmas at 8pm.

Anyone think antonio to Lacca could be a good move?
Leeds are pretty poor at the back at the moment

Options are:
1. Antonio and Sanchez->Laca+Ramsdale
2. Antonio and Sanchez->Watkins+Ramsdale
3. Antonio and Livra->Laca+White
4. Antonio and Livra->Watkins+White
My other concern is whether Bernardo will play, or whether its worth a 4ph to bring in Foden.

I agree with Kickers.
A -4 very risky but hits seem to be paying off of late. I could do the same, get Foden in with a hit, but half the Newcastle squad could test positive for Covid tomorrow.
I’ve put the VC on Watkins, would put it on Foden if I had him.

Seems Bernardo is fit to play, so dont need to worry about him now.
Do I bring in Watkins or Laca? White or Ramsdale?
Both strikers are good shouts against leaky defences, and both Gooner defence/goalie are good choices too, but maybe Ramdale could get save points too.
Or is it better to go without a goalie?
(As for Ronnie – I was looking to have him in my WC, so thought best to keep him for now anyway)

This is me so far. Used my ft and deciding whether to take a -4 and do either
1)bring in Foden for Gallagher.
2) bring on laca for Dennis
3) do nothing and leave it
What’s my best option ?
