Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 17
It’s a quick turnaround this week with a midweek fixture fest to get us right in the mood for Christmas and the chaos ahead. This one spans three days from Tuesday to Thursday and then we begin again on Saturday.
Tuesday itself sees three games, all spread out slightly. with Brentford welcoming Ralf and his new spangled clean sheets at 7.30pm, Villa going to Norwich at 7-47pm before Pep and Bielsa have their usual cuddle at 8.
Wednesday looks relatively uninteresting, if we are being brutally honest, with Brighton v Wolves, Burnley v Watford and Palace v Saints all at 7.30pm. Just say you are washing your hair or something instead. Arsenal v West Ham should be a bit more lively at 8pm. It’d have to try hard not to be.
Thursday looks tastier with Leicester (maybe) hosting Spurs at 7.30pm, Everton going to
Chelsea at 7.45pm and Liverpool reminding Eddie that he isn’t allowed any trees this Christmas at 8pm.

That’s a big assumption.
It’s a waste of a chip, as far as I can see. If it was the final GW then yes, sure. But most people will be captaining Salah so that will probably negate any advantage getting XI players out will achieve. If you play the FH I suspect you’ll have 3 City and 3 Liverpool players, which is very risky.
Anyhow, to each their own so if you do go for it I hope it works out. Otherwise I wouldn’t fret too much if you can’t field XI this week.

Assuming you already have say 5 or 6 minimum from Chelsea, Liverpool or City there won’t be any need to free hit

Morning all,
I have 1FT & 3m ITB.
Which do you prefer:
A. Livramento to Cancelo.
B. Bernardo to Foden
C. Skipp to Gundo
D. Bernardo and Skipp to ESR and Foden (-4)
Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

I personally wouldn’t be taking anybody out that stands a chance to play this GW, so that saying i would go A and bench Skipp, I don’t think you need to take a hit this gw as there will be many around you with less players, If i was 100% certain Gundo would start ,C would also be good, I have Bilva over Foden only because i couldn’t afford Foden at the time, Foden is starting to to look like the better option long term, not sure if any of that has helped, Good luck Mitro

Which one is better?
(1) Ronaldo to Watkins and Bowen to Foden for a -4
(1) Ronaldo to Watkins and Bowen to ESR for a -4 (that keeps option to get Ronaldo back in 1 move but Foden by New is more tempting than Arsenal on the road, but Leeds is depleted with injuries/susp)
