Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

We hope that GW1 was kind to you, but worry not if it wasn’t, as GW2 is upon us already. This one begins on Saturday lunchtime with Liverpool hosting Burnley and hoping for better than the 0-1 defeat they managed last season. The big change this season is the return of multiple 3pm Saturday games, and what a welcome relief that is. We have FOUR of them this week with matches at Villa, Palace, Leeds and the Etihad. Saturday ends with Brighton welcoming Watford at 5.30pm.

Sunday should be fun as Manchester United go to the Saints who they had much fun with last season, Nuno gets an early return to Wolves and then Thomas Tactics gets to further nail Arteta into his inevitable Arsenal coffin. (Editor: Bit dark that, even for Init!)

We depart GW2 with our first Monday night game of the new season as Leicester go to West Ham, could be a cracker that.

  1. Tsimi doing great. Is he likely to keep his starting spot though?

  2. Note to self, don’t captain the early kick off! I do it every year with Salah, the fixture looks good but it’s 12.30 on a Saturday and he doesn’t register anything!

  3. Delighted as a salah non owner. And jota and tsimikas owner.
    Will have to find a way to squeeze in taa now or take a punt on matip starting regularly now.
    Last week salah punished me. Decided to go with some differentials this season. The thrill (and tension and heartbeat) is high though.

    • Matip is the differential pick, not TAA.

    • Don’t think you’ll be delighted by the end of the season if you are still a Salah non owner

    • Good! The game is to be enjoyed, not endured.

      (Says me who nearly quit at 100 different times last season!)

      • No. Last season i had salah at various times. But i truly believe jota can almost ‘match’ salah this season if he continues to get starts. No salah allows me to gave bruno lukaku and son. Need to sacrifice someone.

  4. Watch out for the City game
    I think this time will be all about Grealish yes

    • Hoping so ivan, with 2 fhs next week he’s 1st on the block if he blanks.

    • I was convinced stones will start and went with double city defense with dias hoping for a double clean sheet. Ayling 1st on sub
