We hope that GW1 was kind to you, but worry not if it wasn’t, as GW2 is upon us already. This one begins on Saturday lunchtime with Liverpool hosting Burnley and hoping for better than the 0-1 defeat they managed last season. The big change this season is the return of multiple 3pm Saturday games, and what a welcome relief that is. We have FOUR of them this week with matches at Villa, Palace, Leeds and the Etihad. Saturday ends with Brighton welcoming Watford at 5.30pm.
Sunday should be fun as Manchester United go to the Saints who they had much fun with last season, Nuno gets an early return to Wolves and then Thomas Tactics gets to further nail Arteta into his inevitable Arsenal coffin. (Editor: Bit dark that, even for Init!)
We depart GW2 with our first Monday night game of the new season as Leicester go to West Ham, could be a cracker that.

Could be one of Raphinha, Harrison, Sarr, Trincão, Trossard, Saka or one of the many other options in that range.

4.0 Duffy looking good with some decent fixtures too!

After that goal today, with two starts under his belt and looking at their bench only having one defender in Hayden Roberts, Duffy has to have a pretty good shot at starting regularly.
Perhaps i’m forgetting a center back who is out injured, as that seems pretty light for a squad.
Veltman is isolating and could well take Duffy’s spot
Ah cheers mate of course, have to hope he competes with Gross and March instead, he says clutching at straws.
Would be an excellent for tsimikas. But will he keep starting? Maybe see once veltman back, if he keeps his place

WAT looking a lot better. 5.0 Dennis playing well..may be an option allowing an upgrade somewhere else.
Hi guys hope gw going well so far! Know it’s early days but tbh I’m proud of myself for not doing any transfers last week! What would you do with this lot? 3 main issues are Mahrez (who I just had in for the Norwich game), ESR (who now has competition from Odergaard) & Tsimikas (Robertson on bench today) ….Amartey will probably lose his place too next week!
Original plan was Mahrez & Perica to Barnes & Toney but with Toney blanking and fixtures turning + my £4m defenders unlikely to start, I’m looking at other options including an early WC, which will also help me navigate price rises drops over this week, ie Sarr, Tsimikas & maybe Barnes.
This my current team…..
Potential WC. Shame to lose Son but if Kane stays put it does take away from his value slightly. Anyone else I should be looking at?

Looks fine just downgrade Mahrez and upgrade Perica. I don’t see an issue
