What a drag…
The GW that lasts for two weeks is upon us as our pampered prem stars get a bit of a winter break. AKA get to go on promo tours to Dubai.

Anyway, it begins on Friday 12th and goes all the way through to Monday 22nd, which is just about the time the Luton fans will arrive back after their 400 mile round trip to Burnley on the 12th.

    Yay or nay?

    • Well obviously wait until City have played Spurs in the cup match, which could throw many spanners into several different works! Always bear Murphy’s Law in mind before making hasty mid game week decisions! Round 22 isn’t until the 30th of January. I know there’ll be a lot of price variations till then, but still, the time factor could be invaluable in providing us with information on various different fronts (ex. City’s lineups, KDB’s fitness, Spurs’ attack and ability to remain in the game the full 90 etc etc). Anyway, don’t want to be moralistic and all, but just some things to consider! smile

        • OK, I personally wouldn’t go for a forward fodder. Brentford together with City have DGW 26 and everyone will want Haland and Toney up front. Plus, Pep and KDB himself stated that it’s gonna be a long time before the latter can properly start, until then it will be part time. In the meantime, if you really want him, Salah or Son must go. This is too much dosh to keep on the bench.

    • Watkins remains a strong player – could you make other switches?

      • Second goal turned into an assist now.

        • You mean an own goal by GK Henderson.

        • Assist for Gabriel. I don’t care about Henderson. Think the subject being talked about was Gabriel.

        • On a side note. I’m happy I went with the budget option Gabriel and not Saliba. It didn’t feel right when I got him. But it worked out in the end.

        • Since pretty much all the players that matter have Saka, it won’t make much of a difference?

        • Unless you captained him it doesn’t matter. My rank went down when he had the assist. And I have him. Must have been widely captained.

        • I have white instead of Gabriel. sad

        • Saka was one of my replacements for Salah and Son. I knew I should have opted for a Brighton or pool mid but was I right or wrong we’ll find out tomorrow.

        • Pleasantly surprised to wake up to 18 points from Gabriel. I’ve been cursing my double Arsenal defense for weeks now but it has finally payed off.

        • Have double arsenal defence, still need to get rid of one of them i think
