Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23
Another gameweek on top of the previous one. This one gets us going with a lunch-time battle of the only two teams that start with the letter A when Aston Villa face off vs Arsenal and that of course is followed by a meeting of the only two teams that start with the letter B in Burnley vs Brighton. Along with that game we have Toon taking on Saints so our alphabet game is already ruined. Fulham and Hammers gets the 5:30 spot and the day is brought to a close by what should be an entertaining affair when United play host to Everton.
Sunday brings us four more fixtures. The early game sees Spurs throttle West Brom, that is followed by a battle of Wolves vs Foxes. The third game of the day is a title decider-ish? Probably not, but it should still be a good one when Liverpool and City renew acquaintances. The day is finished off with Sheffield Utd taking on Chelsea.
The gameweek is brought to an end by the ever entertaining Leeds when they play host to Crystal Palace.
The games in full…

I suspected there would be a lot of goals, but this isn’t exactly what I hoped for
Kralin
No – I checked in on the score and it was 1-1 then when I next looked it was terrible.
I hope we’ll start one of the new centre backs sooish so either (or hopefully both) Fabinho and Henderson can get back into midfield. It’s odd because I suspect that sides are still going to be – in a slightly conditioned way – reluctant to have a go against us and yet will want to do that. In theory that could play into our hands.
Loads of games left though and hopefully top 4 and some sort of run in the CL isn’t quite out of our grasp.
OddDane
Hoping for 2nd or 3rd tbh. 1st seems out of reach, outside of top four would be abysmal.
OddDane
If you haven’t already, I recommend you see the highlights. We conceeded to 1-2 and 1-3 within four or five minutes quite spectacularly. Foden 1-4 goal was fairly impressive.

Need one more from Salah

Foden unreal this last 20 mins.

Absolute Carnage. I’m lovin it
OddDane
Alisson should get two assists tbh.

Sympathy on the first. The fast switch to Robertson was the ball that was on. Just didn’t get the true height needed.
The second, having made the first mistake, was inexplicable.
OddDane
Yes please. Let’s find something else to I think both very pretty bad, the latter takes the price though. Really ruined the game imo, but then again I mostly just expected more from LFC.
OddDane
Uhm. That should read:

…oh boy, I need to go to sleep early tonight I can tell!
OddDane
Btw I meant no offense with Robin, actually he used to play well for my home team. I just think Pickford is better, despite him often being picked on for various jokes

Sheff Utd vs Chelsea
Chilwell starts!
Smash
I got that right at least
Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Be avoiding the fullbacks then Smasher?
leeboy104
I had to sell James. Didn’t want the rotation risk headache. Regarding Chilwell, definitely can’t have a 6mill full back rotation risk.
Smash
I said Chilwell will start this week and yeah they will continue to rotate

City 5 points clear off second place United with a game in hand, while pool are 10 points behind. Exciting finish of the season ahead
