Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23
Another gameweek on top of the previous one. This one gets us going with a lunch-time battle of the only two teams that start with the letter A when Aston Villa face off vs Arsenal and that of course is followed by a meeting of the only two teams that start with the letter B in Burnley vs Brighton. Along with that game we have Toon taking on Saints so our alphabet game is already ruined. Fulham and Hammers gets the 5:30 spot and the day is brought to a close by what should be an entertaining affair when United play host to Everton.
Sunday brings us four more fixtures. The early game sees Spurs throttle West Brom, that is followed by a battle of Wolves vs Foxes. The third game of the day is a title decider-ish? Probably not, but it should still be a good one when Liverpool and City renew acquaintances. The day is finished off with Sheffield Utd taking on Chelsea.
The gameweek is brought to an end by the ever entertaining Leeds when they play host to Crystal Palace.
The games in full…

Somehow the OG for Bednarek has been removed and awarded to Almiron :scratch_one-s_head:
His shot was on target. However, I still think it should have stayed as an own goal, as McCarthy would have saved it with ease. These are the rules though…
Would have been funnier though, given his week so far. Yellowed too, perhaps he’s had a bet to be the first player ever to score and OG and be sent off in consecutive games.
It’d have been funnier for sure (especially for us non-owners)
I did not expect Newcastle – Saints to be such a cracker. The Magpies are man down and it’s 3-2 ATM. With more than half an hour left – more goals to come, surely
Thanks to Almiron. He reminds me of the good old MLS days. Back in days I had him all season in my team and he made tons of points.
Him and Martinez in Atlanta United were something like Kane and Son in Spurs, nonstop goals and assists between the two
I remember that too Ivan.
Kane watch
😯
No longer in my team but at least he should help captain Son
I have him benched
I have Kane as captain :superman:
Good for you Chip :good:
He could turn out to be the shocker of the week
I brought Son in just to be captain for this game
Very wise Otieno.
The forecast in London for tomorrow is snow but I am sure it won’t be a problem to notch a couple 😉
Oh snap, I just sold him
Fulham v West Ham United
Captain Antonio starts
Outstanding performance by Sánchez today, approved:good:
Triple Burnley went well :big-lol:
Hey mate – I can feel another big fat captain blank. I’ve got Antonio, after ripping it off Son’s shoulders last night. Hope you are all well at the Cook household!
Oh well, it was fun whilst it lasted
There’s always next week!
