2nd placed Arsenal look to get their mojo back at lunchtime on Saturday with a visit to their old gaffer at Villa. This one should really have been in the Ebening…

THere are a bumper 6 games at 3pm with Brentford vs Palace, Fulham going to Brighton, Chelsea hosting Saints, Everton crunchiong with Leeds, City looking to extend their lead and probably their GD at Forest and Wolves welcoming Bournemouth.

Newcatle and Liverpool see us out at 5-30pm and that one should be intriguing.

That leaves just the two games on Sunday with Man Utd v Leicester at 2pm and Spurs vs West Ham at 4.

    Kdb->Salah
    Kulu->Saka, or Rashford->Gakpo
    and maybe for a 4ph Shaw->Dawson

    what are peoples thoughts

    • I would just get Salah and Saka. I wouldn’t sell Rashford.

      • What about a 4ph for a defender – otherwise im fielding 10 men – or should that be enough – subject to Patterson playing.

        • All is good HF. Trying to keep my head above water ‘n all! Dunno if I will go this exact route. WCing scares me as it involves so much responsibility and seems so final. I’ll let you know! smile

      • +1. Mo and Saka. I don’t think Patterson gets much gametime. Don’t go chasing points with hits, you no it always goes Pete Tong.

          I will play Patterson in the hope I get something from him (if he plays.)
          10 men playing, potentially is still a good enough chance of a good haul I suppose.

        • no problem taking a hit for fielding 11. Patterson will get u 0 pts. just appearance pts of Tarkowski for eg will recover u the 4 pts

        • Reg83, would i be better replacing Patterson with Tarkowski then, or Shaw->Tarks?
          Now we know dg29 is a huge week, and Man Utd have a double, I would like to keep Shaw for that.
          My strategy has maybe changed now (not sure what it was before), and is as follows:
          gw28: Wildcard full of dgw players
          dgw29: BB

          I know we are a few weeks off, but anyone else looking along these lines?

        • It’s one of the talked about strategies. I personally will have to think about it. smile

        • ok this is new info. Do Patterson to Tarkowski. We dont know if Patterson is fit or even if he is 1st choice now with a new manager. Keep Shaw

  2. Here where I am for next week. Is it worth a -8 for;

    Mudryk to salah
    Akanji to Robinson
    Kane to Felix

    Or a -4
    Akanji to TAA /Robinson
    MudrykTo Gakpo

    Or no hit and

    Akanji to TAA /Robinson

    • Do you have enough funds for Mudryk to Mo in 1 ft ?

      • Unfortunately not, can’t even to Mahrez to mo in 1.

      • Not sure i’d be getting a Pool defender in. With your lot you could carry the ft over and have 2 next week.

        • definitely do Akanji to TAA or Robbo. Akanji has high chance of getting 1 or 0 pts vs a possible digit haul by TAA.
          Would do Mudyrk to Gakpo to -4 too.. CHE are in transition & none of their assets can be trusted.
          -8 probably not required

    • Mahrez yo Gakpo could get you some good points. Especially since we don’t know if Mahrez will even start.

  3. I’m waiting for the UCL and UEL matches to finish but I’m thinking one of the following moves. What do you all think?

    A. KdB > Salah
    B. KdB > Salah & Shaw > Pool defender (-4)
    C. Roll it and take your chances

    I can’t decide if I should take a hit. I have 11 but my bench is empty if someone like KdB is rotated. There’s always a 50% chance Pep rests the city player you have.

    2FT 1.6ITB. Which below is better?

    A. Schär + Bruno -> TAA and Gakpo
    B. Schär + Bruno + Shaw -> Salah + Tarkowski + B.Davies/Kilman (-4)

  5. Anyone going without Salah? Would have Gakpo and Darwin if fit. To bring in Salah is really difficult.
    Yeah…will be nerve racking without him when LIV plays.

    • Bees, he has not been in my plans for this DGW. Don’t want to splash that cash on someone who has 2 goals in the last 8 games.
      Gakpo and Darwin will suffice.

      • Agree Ivan. Will forget about trying to shoe horn Salah in.

    • no Salah. Cant get him in without selling consistent Kane & reshuffling. Going with Darwin most likely plus TAA for LIV cover

      • Liverpool defense looked awful tonight though. I don’t know if playing Crystal Palace next makes them any better.

        • yes true. But I already got TAA last week. Could still get attacking returns if no CS
