After the excitement of yet another DGW we are back to your run of the mill bog standard fare this week with 10 games, beginning on Saturday and finishing on Monday.
Saturday begins with a battle of the billionaires as Man City welcome Newcastle at 12.30pm.
There are then five 3pm games with Arsenal hosting Bournemouth, Palace going to Villa, Brigton v West Ham, Chelsea v Leeds and Wolves v Spurs. Saints and Leicester see us out at 5.30pm.
Just the two on Sunday then with Forest v Everton in a big 6-pointer at 2pm and then the old classic of Liverpool v Man Utd at 4.30pm.
Brentford and Fulham then conclude our GW at 8pm on Monday.

Anyone know what happened to Sanchez? Is he no longer goalie for Brighton??? Just got him in!
Oh well, looks like Ward has a few saves and is on 7pts for a losing team (well atm he is).

it appears he is 2nd choice now… All of a sudden when we WC him in, he becomes 2nd choice. And the CS today probably means Steele is 1st choice now.
Thanks Reg – oh well I guess we can key in an extra trade for a goalie next round! Hahaha – the irony of it all! 😉
Steele has been rewarded for training and playing well, whilst Sanchez probably has seen the opposite progression – I seriously doubt you’ll see Steele start again anytime soon. Feels like a statement for Sanchez to stop being too complacent…
On second thought, maybe not

glad I switched back to Ward from Sanchez before the deadline.
So, Steel probably starts DGW27 both matches. After that there is FA Cup next round against Grimsby. That’s where Sanchez is in starting line up.
Then it’s time for international break. Sanchez probably travels with his team. They will play against Norway the 25th of March and next Scotland the 28th of March. So, well rested Steele starts again the 1st of April against Brentford.
Conclusions: Steel starts at least 3 out of the next 4 Premier League clashes.
However, GW27, for example Kepa can easily get equal points compared to Steele. Maybe it’s wise to keep Sanchez for now and reassess the team before GW29.

After weeks of planning and gaining ground in my ML’s I missed the deadline last week …gutted as I was gonna bring in Van Dijk as a differential….lost 34 pts in total and dropped massively in my leagues
So …got some catching up to do and need your help so this season’s not a write off if possible!?
1- is getting Mee this week(eve/sou) worth a -4pts hit against playing Shaw(SOU)? (Otherwise I’ll just do Ake to James/Chillwell to give me an extra player for 28 & a better fixtures dgw for GW29 without a hit – Mee would mean a -4 to do this next week)
2-who would you use bench boost on, bearing in mind I’ll probably TC Haaland in either 34 or 37…..
A- GW29 Raya(bha/mnu)/Saka(LEE)/Odegaard(LEE)/Saliba(LEE)/
B- GW34 Arrizabalaga(ars/mnu)/Odegaard(CHE)/Trippier(SOU)/Saliba(CHE)
C- GW37 Arrizabalaga(mnc/mnu)/Odegaard(nfo)/Saliba(nfo)/Trippier(LEI)
I think BB in GW37 is risky as there could be the start of end of season rotation.

I don’t think a -4 is worth it for Mee, what was your other transfer?
Cheers Frog and Terminators …here’s my team atm! Another option is Mahrez to March and play him over Odegaard!? I’ve basically got to get rid of Mahrez and Ake for someone who plays 28 so March will again effectively be a -4 in the end
What about Mee for Ake and play Mee over Shaw?
Terminators …yeah considering Mee for Ake and play over Shaw or March for Mahrez and play over Odegaard ….either will cost -4pts …or is both for -8 worth it?
I don’t think it’s worth an extra -4 for March as he needs to earn that back plus Brighton don’t play in GW28!
You need to look at GW28 as you have 3 City, 2 Utd and 2 Brighton players not playing and you need cover.
Yeah I’m gonna get rid of Mahrez and Ake and just play 9 in 28….think bgw32 will be better to use FH for myself! Gonna BB in 29 though so even if I go for Mee I’ll probably -4 him out by then as don’t fancy his fixtures…thinking James/Chillwell for 29 …although tonight’s result has made me second think that!?
Who is likely to do worse in the next 3 GWs out of Gakpo and Mahrez? And you can’t say both
mahrez bcoz it looks like he is going to play only CL now.. Pep is weird. He drops in form Foden.. Then he drops red hot Mahrez.. Now Foden is back.. Now once Foden hits top form, he will probably start Mahrez again.
That is a tough one, Gakpo will play but Liverpool are poor and cannot score goals, Mahrez is in form, but the Champs League games are back on so Pep’s rotating.
What do you want to know, which one to drop?
I think Mahrez is more likely to play in the Liverpool game as Pep will want to win the game and if Mahrez does play he’s more likely to score than Gakpo.
With Foden back in peps good books and in flying form and look to move Mahrez on.
I had both and got rid of him for this week. Gakpo is likely to follow depending what happens today
I am in the same boat Gavy. Mahrez and Gakpo plus TAA are still lingering in my team.
Thankfully I have the WC to do a spring cleaning.

Forest v Everton
Trying to think a bit ahead now that GW28 has weakened my FH plans. This is my team for GW27. 0FT 5.9itb.
But it gives me 7 players for GW28. Do I still FH or WC28 (or even WC27)? Or maybe I could take a hit for 28, put out 9 players then FH the double and use the WC/BB combo later.
I will have maybe 7 or 8 for GW28
I am looking to do the following with my FH, WC and BB:
gw28: FH
gw33: WC
dgw34: BB
that is assuming that gw34 is still going to be a huge dgw
