Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 26

Now this is what you call a DGW. 14 games no less spanning from Saturday lunchtime to Thursday evening with 8 teams playing twice.

Saturday itself is chocker and for once Soccer Saturday will be worth turning on with 6 games for Jeff to get his teeth into. It is bookended with West Ham & Newcastle at 12.30pm and Man City vs Spurs at 5.30pm.

We then have just a couple on Sunday with Leeds vs Man Utd at 2pm and Wolves welcoming Leicester at 4.30pm.

The DGW action gets underway on Wednesday with 3 games and then we conclude on Thursday with Wolves going to Arsenal.

    • Question is, would you gain more if you used it GW30 or one of the doubles? I’d suggest you would.

  3. Anyone looking at Newcastle players for their double double? I’m contemplating Targett and Willock.

    • Or ASM if he will be fit.

      • Willock could be a pretty good punt. Also, Targett as seems likely to get minutes

      • It’s a shame Tripper is injured

    • Taking Wilock on a WC. Will probably flip Pope to Dubravka for GW28 BB.

      • Yeah, I think Dubravka as my 2nd keeper might be the way to go

    • Just get Livramento for White and you are set. Most teams will have a non playing bench for this one. The 2 FH chips could be more beneficial in future rounds.

      • Is Livramento nailed on starter?

        • He was off the boil for a while but seems to be coming back. Cheap alternative with great fixtures until almost mid April which you can use as a 5th defender.

        • I mean he was injured so did not really go off the boil. The LB has now got Covid . Ultimately he’s their best full back

  5. Hey guys. I think there are a lot of players that’ll score big this GW, I only have 2 or 3 of them. Plan is to FH (last one) and WC gw29.

    I have recently heard that more games will be added to GW 30.

    I have FH, WC & BB. Any advice by anyone to talk me out please drinks

    • Phoenix, if you can come up with some ingenious plan to manage through the massive BGW30 and be good for the days ahead, go for it.

  6. Seen lots say GW30 for FH is nailed on. The goal posts have moved on that now. Arsenal, Wolves, Leeds, Aston Villa and probably Southampton all have nice double GW fixtures before GW30 now. So you will find yourselves probably bringing in those players regardless now between now and GW30 which will most likely be enough. Usual team caveats may apply like everything this time of the season.

    • You could be right Smash, that has thrown a few spanners in the works.

      You still FH’ing for gw27?, and maybe FH’ing for gw30?

      • Yeah I’ve hit the button for this week. Next one I might still use in GW30 but I doubt it now because those teams all have doubles before GW30 now so not sure it makes that much sense now

        • I am still in two minds as to whether to use mine.

          need experts advice as to whether i should or not.
